  1. People kept telling me I was crazy! My 2018 sticks out about a 1/4 inch on the drivers side. Still under warranty so I’ll be getting it fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. That’s what they are telling me now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So has anyone had their paint tested at a dealer for adhesiveness? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I have a 2018 Silverado CC Z71 with the ocean blue metallic paint which I paid extra for when I bought the truck. Currently the paint is chipping off( looks like rock chips) all over the truck. My front bumper looks like someone hit it with rock salt. After 18k miles the paint shouldn’t look like this. I feel as if it should hold up better. Has anyone made a claim with gm to try and get this remedied. I tried the dealer but they directed me to gm and said there is nothing they can do about it. I’m just wondering if anyone has the same issue. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So slowly but surely I’m making headway on my 2018 Silverado CC Z71. Just put in my black aluminum bow tie inserts last night. Now the next project will be converting all of the lights to LED. I want to start with the smaller bulbs (rear cab brake/bed light, license plate lights reverse lights). But where it gets hairy is installing LED turn signal bulbs in the front and doing a temporary conversion to the rear (bulbs only). Has anyone done this or tried? I know I will need a harness with resistor but I wasn’t sure if it was possible without changing the whole housing. Any recommendations, I don’t have $600+ sitting around at the moment for LTZ lights. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah I’m going to take it in. I can fix it myself I’m sure but that’s what warranty is for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. First I Tried opening it with a pry bar and ever since it’s been hard to open... weird. lol. Looks like warranty is going to be the plan. It was just so smooth on that Colorado tail gate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I just need to know to see if I need to warranty it or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have a 2018 Silverado with 14k. Ever since I bought it the tail gate is hard to open. You really have to pull the latch handle. I thought this was normal until I opened the tailgate on a 2017 Colorado this weekend. Smooth as butter. Is this normal behavior of the tail gate latch or should it be easy? Thanks. 10. My father in law has a 2017 Colorado CC and he doesn’t want his running boards anymore so I was wondering if they would mount up to a Silverado CC. Has anyone tried this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I think the windshield strip is going to take some getting used to. It’s kind of screwing with my eyes at the moment hahaha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So after a lot of deliberation and help from you fine people, I decided on 20% for the front windows and a 8” visor strip on the windshield. I have to say I couldn’t be happier. Love the look and how dark the interior is now. This truck makes me feel things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Oh man I thought there was zero tint on the front Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks for the feedback! I’ve got a lot to think about over the next few hours before I get this done. Probably leaning towards 20% and a brow. We will see. I’ll post before and after pics this afternoon. Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
