    Two hour drive home today. Every ten seconds a round if alerts about trailer, rear cross traffic and lane assist faults. Flashes the radio screen each time too. Blood was starting to boil after the distractions caused me to almost get in a wreck in traffic. Thankfully I was able to stuff my hat in the dash and turn off the radio so I could actually drive. For what it’s worth I cleaned all the sensors and tried restarting the truck to make it stop. I shouldn’t have to do that anyways, this is a truck in the winter, it’s gonna be dirty and if that is a problem then this truck will have to find a new home. I don’t really want to deal with a dealer this time of year but it looks like I have no choice.

    Is it actually working? I have no idea and haven’t been able to tell... compared to the 18 I drove where I noticed right away and then the salesman pointed out the little v4 light to me to explain it...

    My hope is the fuel bigger tank but.... I also noticed a spot next to the fuel filler for another neck about the size one would expect for DEF. Perhaps they have other plans for that space. Regardless there is plenty of room and a replacement tank wouldn’t even require a complex shape. This project is totally within the abilities of one of the street rod shops that specializes in building gas tanks.

    I have also seen this in the cold... fwiw my truck was spotless at the time (as it is black I typically keep it that way). The trailer disconnect error was way more frequent than the lane change but in the cold (~15F) they both did it.

    My AT4 short/crew was also built in Fort Wayne. Nice sticker on the door frame of the drivers door.

    So I am enjoying my new AT4 but I have noticed the small tank (extra small with the satisfying roar of the 6.2). This evening I looked under my truck at the tank and noticed there is about 2 feet of clear space in front of the current tank that could easily be used to hold a larger tank. Depending on on how bad things are towing our travel trailer this summer I might have a stainless or aluminum tank fabbed that runs that full length. I suspect it could fit at least 35 gallon maybe 40 in there. Unfortunately i suspect the computer will go ape shit crazy when the gallon capacity doesn’t match what it expects. Given all the space I wonder if we will get a reasonable fuel tank size option when they ship the 60lb lighter carbon bed...

    Finally got mine yesterday after 6 weeks of waiting from it’s build date. Fantastic truck so far.

    Got an updated delivery date today. November 10th it’s supposed to hit the local rail yard with another 1-1.5weeks from that for dealer prep and what not. That adds up to right after thanksgiving or so which seems like a long time from the 10/8 build date. It’s going to be a long month...

    Been trying to get back into a GM truck after a couple others over the past few years. I found an AT4 on my dealers website and started a deal... just got a call that they have no idea when it will get here. It’s built and waiting on a lot in Fort Wayne. Supposedly there are no rail cars to haul it and it could be 3-4weeks before it shows up? Is this bull or what?
