It's never too early to start talking about the process of shopping around for a dealer, pricing, the ordering process, deposits, and production delivery times. Although we're still months away from orders being accepted, this thread is meant to be a place where everyone can check in and share their experiences as they go through the process. I'm also going to document as many important dates in this initial post as I can. I'll attempt to keep everyone up to date on start of production, any ordering limitations, and when the ordering system will go live. Truck started to make a squeaking noise this weekend, took it to the dealership on Monday. Dealership called Tuesday and said that they could not find anything wrong with the truck and that this sound is normal. Take a look at this video so that you can hear and understand what I am talking about. https://youtu.be/aERzjGAX-aU Does this sound normal to you guys? I also put water on the belt and the noise was persistent so it does not appear to be the belt. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The truck drives fine. It accelerates fine and everything, except there has been a humming noise coming from the rear when I accelerate recently. It gets louder the faster I go. The dealer seemed to not know what it was a first and gave me different possible issues. Now they’re telling me I need a rear differential replacement. I do have larger wheels and tires (35s) on a 6 in lift. Have any of you experienced something similar?

So this week I brought my truck into the dealership because of a ticking and squealing sound mostly when the engine was cold. After touching base with the service advisor the following day he notified me that the truck needs lifters and a cam. Parts have been ordered (5-7 days) and they will be doing the repair under warranty. The truck only has 69,000km (5.3L) and it doesn't take a beating. I get 13L/100km mileage. Thankfully the truck is still under warranty (5 year/160,000km), but I find it odd that the cam shaft needs to be replaced on the truck at this point. Anyone else dealt with a similar issue at this stage in their trucks life?
