  1. 1 1/2 motofab on mine. 5k miles and smooth as can be! No problems at all. Zero regrets!
  2. I would take BFG's a million times over those Duratracs! Personal preference I guess but the Goodyears are loud and rough to drive on the street. I would never want them on a daily driver. They would be awesome on a weekend warrior jeep but not a brand new 55k truck that gets 95% of it's use on the road!
  3. I got my trailboss with 20's and it had the bridgestones (which I absolutely love)
  4. Couldn't agree with you more. Black wheels were "cool" about 4 years ago and in my opinion have run their course. It was a different look at the time. I'm not ready to go back to a lot of chrome just yet, but a mix of machined and painted looks like a happy compromise to me. I really like the 20" wheel option for the Trailboss!
  5. Same! Love the 5.3/8speed combo! Smooth as silk and more power than I could ever need! I have about 5000 miles on mine. Came from a 2011 Silverado half ton with 5.3/6speed and new truck is better in every way! The DFM is so much better than the AFM was (still wish it didn't have this feature but if it's going to,at least they improved it!)
  6. My Trailboss is Northsky blue. Not sure if that's the same as the Pacific blue on the GMC or not
  7. Too pretty not to show off! LT Trailboss with 1 1/2 motofab leveling kit
  8. What are your measurements. I have stock tires yet so your might be a little taller, but regardless of that, front should be the same height or a touch more than the back. My front is a half inch higher than the back according to measurement. I think it looks really nice. Huge improvement! I like it!
  9. Correct. Mine is a 1.5 Motofab. The one I posted in the link. What are you measurements to wheel wells? I wonder if the custom is a bit different in some way.
  10. That may be. I honestly know nothing about this lift. I do know that Rough Country lifts are usually on the cheaper end both in price and quality. But it may be an option for someone looking for a cosmetic look that doesn't really use it off road.
  11. Rough country has a kit that lifts the front 3" and 1.5" in the back. Only cost $700 and looks pretty simple to install. Way cheaper than the gm kit and actually levels the truck.
  12. I'm 41 to the back and 41.5 to the front. The bed of the truck however is still slightly higher in the back than it is at the cab. So I'm thinking this is about the perfect spot to be! Here is another pic of it to see the overall stance.
  13. That is both AWESOME and Embarrassing at the same time!
  14. I took my Trailboss sticker off the first day I had it. One if those things that 10 years from now we will look back and say "remember when Chevy made a "Trailboss!?"
  15. The one I used is like 3 years old. This one looks very similar. (but no guarantees). Because you won't be able to see any part of it I would think any 3 could charger would work. You'll just have to take it apart (mine had 12 tiny Philips screwdriver holding it all together then I cut some if the plastic off with a Dremel) https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F252760579426
  16. If you stick a level on the top of the box side, it's still too low in the front. I've always lifted trucks based on level box sides not measurement off ground to wheel openings. Old square body Chevy's in the 80's, the front wheel well was about 2 or 3 inches higher to the front wheel wells so you had to base level on the box. I think it turned out great and I wouldn't have wanted to go any less. Just my opinion!
  17. truck is sitting on a level surface and tires are straight in this picture. The angles really look fine to me!
  18. That inside cover is really just compression fit. I took a small putty knife, got one corner started and it all just pops out. there's little pegs that go into rubber grommets so when you're ready to put it back on you just push it all back in and it's good. You do have to make sure that you're pushing the button on the council that you normally would push to open the council while you're poppin it off as those two little ears that go in and out will hinder that cover from coming off
  19. I did mine myself in center council of my 19 Trailboss. Went really well with a little work and some ingenuity! Cut apart a triple coil charger off eBay. Paid $12 for it a couple years ago and wasn't using it anymore. Opened up the bottom side of the lid, ground it out with a Dremel tool, glued the modified charger in place, ran a charging cable from the USB in the counsel to the charger thru the hinge, put it all back together and it works awesome. Radio has to have power to it for it to be on! (I can only get 2 pics at a time to attach so it going to be a few post)
  20. It does need some larger tires, but one thing at a time!?
