So to elaborate a little, I have the original power fold mirrors for the truck (non tow mirrors) that I took off the truck. I was curious if the motors were the same between the two sets of mirrors to where I could swap the motors out in them.

I have a 21 1500 AT4 with the power folding tow mirrors. Recently the passenger side tow mirror will not fold most of the time. Best I can tell the motor is going out for the power fold part. I was wondering if anyone has ever taken these mirrors apart. Im wondering if I could somehow replace the motor in the mirror vs spending +/- $1000ish on a new mirror. Any help or ideas are appreciated.

Has anyone found a good vinyl match for satin steel metallic?
