  1. Unfortunately i too have had this same issue with the 2019 Trail Boss i bought 2 months ago. Brake failure reduced engine power reduced steering assist is a VERY serious safety problem and Chevy has some serious issues with customer service. These codes along with several others have happened 5 yes 5 times in less than 3 weeks for me! Thank goodness i wasnt towing my boat cuz i would have hurt or killed someone if that would have happened while towing. Did have one close call almost rear ending a car too. Bought my truck from Classic Chevrolet in Madison and they have been advised by the GM technical support engineers and had the dealership reprogram the computer well pick my truck up and drove 25 miles and you guessed it....no brakes no power steering and reduced engine power. So i took it back immediately ....once again they talk to GM and this time they tighten a ground nut almost 2 turns so they thought the fixed it by doing that. NOPE picked it up after another 5 day service visit and made in 12 miles and goes out again. So my truck has been in the shop for over 6 weeks and i have to make my second payment this weekend. Dealership took over 2 weeks to call me and thats only because i call Chevy Customer Service to report such a serious safety concern! unfortunately after talking with them for weeks and fighting with my dealer Classic Chevy we dont have any resolution. SO PISSED to spend over 50k on a truck and have such a serious problem and for Chevy not to realize what kind of lawsuits they might have on their hands if they dont solve this problem. I have looked and have yet to find a dealer in this country to fix this issue yet. I have been believed in General Motors all my life and the way them and the dealer have handled this situation i have lost all faith in their product because they wont stand behind it!
