Your right, my bad it was only 42.3. See attached pic Probably had a tail wind. My first tank I am averaging about 31 on my commute to and from work this week.

I will be switching to 5w30 as soon as it is available, and sure it will be eventually, living in a warm climate that never gets under 50 degrees, I have no need for 0w20. Only reason they are running that thin is for MPG.

About the only thing I could see coming is a free flowing exhaust. But then again the little 3.0 may sound like crap with it.

Loving the 3.0, first time I drove it at the dealer I was impressed. Anyone thinking about one, go test drive. Quiet, zero lag. And I live in an area that is 45-55 and I my best 50mile average on the meter, is 43.5 mpg. At that 45-55 , I have done some passing slower traffic, and will say that is the only time I have notices lack of V8 Horsepower. But still does a good job getting around them, just not quite as fast as the V8's. The ride is great, and at running only about 1300 rpm at speed, it is really quiet. When we were on the way home from dealer the wife was behind me in the car at night, and I was curious about the old school diesel soot when floored so I did it in front of her at about 55mph and she said she didnt see or smell any diesel.
