  1. 2015 had it from the factory. 2016 is when they stopped.
  2. You had the vehicle towed in, so to me that means you understood that running the motor or driving the vehicle would further damage the engine. You did your part. As a repair facility they should have done theirs. Proving it is their fault is a whole different story.
  3. I bought a used Hypertech that was used but unlocked and it worked fine. Got it for $70. The original user must plug it back in to their vehicle and set their vehicle back to stock programming. That unlocks the device.
  4. Mine was just screwed on when I bought it. It was the first thing I took off
  5. Looks like it is all available here. Just have to cross reference your VIN for the trim color. https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/auto-parts/2015/chevrolet/silverado-1500/ltz-trim/5-3l-v8-gas-engine/body-cat/center-console-scat
  6. Got the 2017 Redline lifted. 7" Rough Country Spindle kit with lifted struts. 20x10 Fuel Vapor wheels wrapped with 35x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
  7. Traded my 2015 for a 2017 and discovered the cup holder was not removable. I will be ordering the parts to change it over. Used it all the time before and now I miss it. Plus I want to remove the top to route a charging cable for my phone to the front from inside the console.
  8. Same issue here. Had a 2015 that had the removable cup holder. Got my 2017 and grabbed it to pull it out and nothing! Mine also rattles with a cup in it. The removable one never rattled. Engineers at Chevy sometimes have me smh. I will order the parts to retrofit to the old style.
