  1. I'm pretty sure it's the same hold the button you want to save it too Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Most likely an issue with the cluster either bad ground or maybe bad solder points everything else you have thought of are good places as well Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  3. Yea from cosco seem it was more setup for a car Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  4. Yes I have mx+ ! Do you have software I can use? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  5. This is one of the things I like about the Frostguard cover.... it has more than enough material to cover the wiper blade rest area I had one it barely fit it was too much work. It only snows once a week on average and stays cold under 20f all day if not under 0 so the snow is easy and never any ice as long as its not from melted snow from warming the truck Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Hmmm I have been fine getting up a little early when I notice snow and brush the truck off 20 minutes at all is fine but sometimes need to remember to check the windows that there not frozen shut if so releasing the seal on the outside with a card is a quick trick. I use to have a heater in my subaru but when it snowed made it really hard to get all the slushy snow and ice off the car is more of an annoyance. Although didn't have a timer so it was set for 40f all night. Also if you don't yet make sure to keep the windshield wipers up when you park so no ice builds up. 7. I love my truck mainly the looks but there are some things ford does better. The biggest right now is using forscan to program whatever added feature you can afford at a given time without sending parts out to be programmed, More power, lighter, higher payload...., More or equivalent tech, For me in the winter I love my 2500 but my work f250 is just as good but it lacks a soft landing bed Ford uses vacuum to activate 4x4 other then that I do not know the weak point on chevy they use a rod with a temp sensitive end that when it's hot pokes it out so takes some time for it to disengage when you turn it off ford is a little quicker The g80 locking rear end in the chevy is awesome specially if you like drifting/ power sliding If not still great tightest 360 turn even with 4x4 on and less binding feels like the front is a limited slipping diff also but I don't know. Ford has a electric locking rear diff I guess works great but doesn't drift well and is ruff when it's searching for traction at low speeds. Chevy having the trailer break on the left is nice out of the way ford has moved it near the 4x4 control if there is a shifter there it han be a little crowded but maybe something you will get use to. Chevy has the best center console layout and storage under center seat if you get the 3 front seat layout. So find a truck in your price range and find one with all the options you want. I have some doubt about my truck but I still love it everything has been great. I would of gone with a 2500 or 250 in white or black with factory trailer break was all I really was looking for for under 30k. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  8. Maybe there is a short? I hope someone more knowledgeable can answer but I'm curious if the high beams have a self resetting fuse. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  9. Right I was just commenting lucas I have no clue what your issue is. It does seem more mechanical I don't think it's a solenoid issue but could be. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Are you sure that's not a worn out u joint pretty typical symptoms. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  11. With old hot wiring basically your taking the starter wire ignition wire and a constant hot. So basically all you need to do is wire the ignition wire possibly two to a hot wire that is connected thru a switch. Since you used the key to start the vehicle it should stay running. Using a wire diagram from directed might give you best results but another place is bulldog auto start not the bullydog programmer. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  12. They don't want to be liable for anything... There lossing enough money as it is to stupid.things wether it's over site on there side or something they may not of had control of so they see this is helping there bottom line. I pretty sure this is similar to ford they don't even give them enough understanding of how to change things they give them a text file that says this does this for this series of vehicles. 13. I use to want the swing out storage but I think I found a better solution Keeps all the groceries in the first area and have plenty of room for trash behind. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Hold up you should be able to use this but adding it to onstar might be another thing I'd hope they would add it to their side but using an aftermarket will make adding cell option easier and comes out to the same price or cheaper depending on location and if you can do it yourself. https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/product/autosync-programmer-scan-tool/ Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Storage mods Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  16. That's a color rim that should have came stock Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Question how are they even getting in the truck to pop the hood Ford's thing was people are able to record key codes if they can get close enough and send it to another box that then sends it to the vehicle then can start and drive off Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  18. Nice tip I didn't know that. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Agreed I think the tire compound is probably going to be the worse part. I prefer a winter tire so I can get off the line and stop faster then the people that are trying to use just the factory all seasons and annoys me that they can't go at least the speed limit on the highway or hog up the fast lane and only go 45. When we get fresh snow or weather changes I do a break check and try acceleration at full speed to see how I need to adjust to the road. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  20. I went with the factory because of it being tied in with on star and I believe the smart start vs onstar are about the same I'll disable onstar in may Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  21. Yes I just want to see how things look it has 107k miles on it with it being a new purchase just want to see how the rear vales are looking. I went thru the throttle and the view was bad I am hoping this will allow me to see the rear ones. Thank you for the comments though Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  22. Hi I need help to get this piece off to hopefully make it easy to get a look at the intake valves without taking the heads off. I've used the scope to go thru the intake but I have no idea what valves I'm looking at. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  23. Those do looked really good far better then I have seen on turbo car at that point with no catch can. The bad build up he has on one valve is only maybe half but probably less then Half of the coking it needs to get missfire. But you will see the worst on the back parts of the engine where to air has to go the farthest. The comments on that page are kinda crazy I would like to see someone use a known high quality catch can on the motor from new and see what it looks like at 130k to compare apples to apples although even gas quality and how the owners drive make for more variables. Watching another video on youtube of the camera in the intake showed lots of gas getting past the intake port into the intake as well adding to the confusion of theory. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  24. Pcv is still ran into the intake unless there is a factory catch can which even those don't catch everything Your going to have an oil film in your intake that will cake up on the intake valves without port injection there going to get dirty quicker and eventually cause misfire/ destination and when there caked that bad you have to use a blasting medea to remove it. Previous turbo car I used seafoam intake cleaner every oil change and had very little build up after 50k but the car has a factory catch can and oil film was very little in the intake. But people where getting misfires around 150k miles. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  25. Yea bought my 100k 2500lt for 30k so far better deal Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
