battery is about a year old agm i have a battery shunt says its 100% charged. there is a possibility its it the ignition. how often does the ignition go out on these trucks?

options. well thankfully i know where to look but trying to squeeze my hand in there and feeling around is not working right now as its too cold maybe before my check in appointment it will warm up and i can find it or i can get lucky. january 6 they were going to check for leaks maybe. there is a note on the paper work that they may have a immobilizer installed. i couldn't find anything. the can bus performance issue could be poor communication to transmission module.

Hi just got my truck back from shop for new transmission and now the truck some times wont start seems like bad fuel pump. i have lots of codes my guess is bad ground im here to get another opinion. what should i do? shop doesnt open till tuesday. thank you P1682 ignition 1 circuit 2 fault U0422-71 invalid data from bcm U0029 poor can bus performance B1024-53 driver airbag short to ground b2575-04 left headlight open b2699-04 right headlight open both headlights are working fine i do have aftermarket hids with capacitors C0765-29 C0760-29 both are tpms yes there dead B127B-2B reverse camera signal missing stinger aftermarket radio should still have signal?

I paid $975 for labor. I provided parts. It was another $145 for alignment as I had to go somewhere else for that. Some shops will just quote hourly per part. I did find two that did not. They knew what hourly to drop from the quote as there was going to be in their anyway.

I’d check anything that has to do with your suspension: steering wheel linkage, tie rods, ball joints, idler arms, sway bar links,shocks. jack the front up and see if you get any wobble up down left right. probably start from one wheel and work your way to the center. for the idler arms gonna have someone look at it same time someone turns the steering back and forth. if you find nothing in front look at back. if still nothing maybe get tires rotated and balanced and see if they can find anything.

Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Go to the INFO menu using the navigation button. Scroll to the TIRE PRESSURE menu. Press and hold the thumbwheel button. Starting from the driver's side front tire, place the TPMS relearn tool against the tire sidewall near the valve stem. A horn chirp will confirm that the sensor has been reset. Then continue to the front passenger and around clockwise. It does help to know what each tires pressure is in case the clockwise does not show up in the cluster properly. I think I had to do front driver/ passenger then rear driver/ passenger.

does anyone know is the in tank fuel pump is different for the flex fuel version? some places have vin and others say how much output.

i knocked the gas tank with a hammer on its wide side to make the least amount of possible damage and transfer most energy thru. at the same time i used the autostart function and it started up. this was before even trying again on its own if it would start. as i drove home i heard one pop and scanned again and got a new code for lean on bank one and two. no check engine light just in history.

hi i have code u0029 poor bus a connection. for chevy truck most say its there radio issue but issue i am having is crank no start. i have spark but have not tested fuel yet. i cant hear fuel pump turn on. anyone have any other thoughts then checking fuel?

i want to get ride of my jumper seat with locking underseat storage for a center console? i have not actually taken it out yet but it does look like it’s separate.

i would place some locktite on it i had the same issue but torqued it properly the first time but then a month later i completely lost the bolt and the replacement i found from my work was a bit to long and even when i put red locktite on that it still backed out and i ignored it thinking there is no way it backed out with red locktite.

i went with climart visors as my father in law got them and fit fine. after seeing the reviews about fitmit of others i decided to go with them. i didn’t want to go with non in channel because i don’t like the look or the added dirt that would get caught in them. i don’t like how sometimes the auto close window will roll back down and there are half inch scratches in the glass at the edges from rubbing. https://a.co/d/3n06Ihq

well i did rig jumper cables and some jumper wires to the motors and got the windows up.

so i’ve had the issue for all winter. today i held the lock button opening all the windows. now i can not close the rear windows. i think it maybe because the truck thinks the window lock is on. does anyone have any experience with this or knows how to jump wire it to close. thank you

You big dummy! found the blown fuse on the relay harness. What you get when you try doing something without giving it your full attention. And easily wanted to blame the truck when I couldn’t find the right fuse that was labeled wrong. Or am I still only seeing what I want to see on the truck.

Getting somewhere has nothing to do with the trucks oem wiring I just didn’t notice there are two fuses and borrowing someone else multimeter to figure this out. first photo is list of under good fuses second is fuses I found. Third is some where my issue is seems like the relay putting together some jumper wires to test. currently having issues uploading the photos so working on that as well found out that highs went from 0 to 14.8 volts then lows where 8 to 14.6

That’s a bummer then means you have to do the cleaning at the injectors if too much crud breaks loose but I think this was more relevant for 20 year old vehicles retrofitted to use ethanol also could be hot rod tv drama and things you should know added benefits of ethanol.

Also ethanol will grab water from the air if it sits in the tank to long you can get to much water in the tank how long it takes I don’t know but if your refueling it at least once biweekly I think it would be fine.
