  1. Hey guys, so I managed to get all the tires reading and the warning off on the dash. However the very next day, it started flashing again and I got the service tpms system on the the dash and now it’s not reading any of the wheels (whereas before it was only reading the fronts, not the rears) this possibly points towards the module itself being faulty?
  2. Hey guys, I've read about this issue in a few threads and places but I cant seem to find whats happening to me exactly. I recently had my two REAR sensors go blank and the dash light pop up (The fronts read the psi) I was in need of new tires so I bought a set of 2019 GMC Denali wheels and separate tires and when to Les Schwab. They told me that the tires sensors in the GMC wheels were good and would work for my Silverado. Great! They called me a while afterwards saying they can not get the sensors to learn my truck. So they got me new ones and installed them with my new tires onto the GMC rims and then called back, saying they can not get those to learn my truck either. We went through all the re-learning steps and whatnot with their tool/computer. Nothing. The front wheels are reading but not the rear. Same as my issue before all the tire swapping.... This points to me that it could be a module issue whereas its not reading the rear two sensors? If they were not able to be learnt or compatible between the 315 and 433 freq's then NONE of them would read... right? Anyone had a similar issue and know of a direction I should go before purchasing a re-learn tool myself?
  3. Newdude, thank you very much for your reply. I apologize I’m in the wrong thread! My bad, and thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I’ve managed to find some LED’s and installed them this morning. They’ve made a huge difference! I wanted to go with the GTR Ultra2 but I can’t spend close to $1k on lights at this point so I got another cheaper option. We’ll see how long they last. anyway, I should get off here and onto the correct forum. Again, sorry and thank you.
  4. Hi guys, I just got my Silverado 2500HD LTZ after trading in my 2014 Sierra 1500 SLT. I've noticed that when the lights are not on (I leave the knob in Auto) the interior blue lights around the radio and climate controls turn off. When I put the fog lights on or the amber running lights, it comes back on. When the blue interior lights go off and come back on, they slowly come in, like 'glow'. They dont just pop on and pop off, so that makes me think it's meant to do that? Is this normal? Also, I read somewhere that if I wanted to install HID bulbs, I'd need to get an app on something and tell the truck they're HID's or something? Can anyone let me know if this is a thing? Thank you all very much
  5. Hey guys, when I bought the truck about 2 years ago, the front control arms were on their way out, I had the stealership put a leveling kit on it before I took delivery but never got around to doing the Control Arms... now it's thunking and clunking... So it's time. What is the best option here, I do not take her off roading for competition or any racing, simply just a weekend warrior otherwise to work and back. If I put OEM back on it'll be toast in a few years again, so what are my options here, not looking to break the bank but get the front end solid again. Thanks in advance.
  6. Lucas287 Thank you for responding and your input. I'll have a look when I get a chance. Any tips on checking the steering column? Thanks
  7. Hi guys, I've got a 2014 1500 Sierra 61k Miles. I've got a 2" leveling kit on it and 1.5" wheel spacers with stock 20's and K02's. Recently I've been getting a klunk sound from what I think it feels like the steering column? It happens when I turn the steering wheel but not necessarily to full lock and it doesn't happen every time. Maybe 40-50% of the time. I know the OEM Upper Control Arms are more stressed with a leveling kit but I thought 2" leveling kit wouldn't destroy them in within 1500Miles and I'm not going 4x4ing either! The control arms do not making any noise or vibration or DONK* when i tap the breaks at all. during all stages of driving they seem great! So I'm starting to think it's the linkage in the Steering Column? Any thoughts Cheers
  8. So I removed the spacers on the rear wheels and the sound went away. very happy it's not drivetrain related. The Bora spacers come with nuts, so you use their nuts on your studs for the spacer and then your wheel nuts on their studs for the wheels. I agree with you, that it'll be way better to just get some better offset wheels and do without the spacers. Thanks guys.
  9. Hey all, I recently added 1.5inch Bora spacers to my stock suspension (leveling kit), stock 20" wheels and now I have a Whuuring/Humming sound now whenever I accelerate. It's a constant hum as my foot is on the accelerator, even when I'm just cruising. When I take my foot off the gas it stops so that rules out hubs or anything to do with the wheel assembly, right? It has to be powertrain related.. Any ideas? Thanks
  10. Excuse the ignorance here, but I'm new and I've heard about the TBSS intake manifold/TB. Is this not an option for a K2 with 5.3?
  11. Hi Guys, Brand New here and to trucks. Been (and still am) into performance wagons but love this truck! I’ve always wanted one so I’m very happy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
