Hmmm I was thinking the same about something being stuck to the pad. But when I saw the other side I have to assume something else is going on... I’m gonna try to take one of the wheels off to check it out but my wife just gave birth to my daughter earlier this week so time is limited as of right now lol. Just wondering if anyone else seen this before
Hey all. First post here I usually creep around for solutions but this one has me stumped.. bought myself a 2015 yukon last week and upon further inspection I saw that the rear brake pads were practically metal on metal.. so I followed up with the sales man and told them that I was unhappy about the brakes. Spoke to the supervisor and he issued me a check for parts and labor because I insisted on doing repairs myself and never using their service center...
I ordered centric brand ceramic pads for front. Power stop ceramic pads for back and power stop rotors all the way around.
ive put about 200 miles on since and noticed there is an even gouge on the front rotors. This is happening on both driver and passenger side. Has anyone had this issue before? ive changed Many brakes before so I’m not completely new at this. Just new with this truck...
Thanks for any advice
