I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on a stupid decision that I made so please no comments on that! So I just purchased a brand new 2020 Silverado this spring. Decided that I would spray the frame with fluid film as I’ve had good luck with it in the past. Turns out I just never had good luck on a wax coated frame. Long story short all the wax in the frame can be wiped off with my finger. What are everyone’s opinions on how to proceed from here? Is there a particular product you would use at this point? Continue to coat it with fluid film? I’m pretty particular about my things. To make matters worse I live in upstate New York so salt is definitely an issue. Thanks in advance for everyone’s thoughts!
