  1. Awesome - thanks again!
  2. Thank you! Are you able to also let me know what steering wheel PN you ordered? Appreciate your time!
  3. I just want to confirm with all who did this... Did this add volume control as well, via the steering wheel? Thank you!
  4. Bringing back a slightly older post... If you pull the front bumper (I have a base model without fogs, so I don't think I have any wires to worry about), can you sneak out the bottom bolts that hold in the grill? Or is the lower valence under the grill still in the way from removing the bolts (and/or pulling the grill up)? Thanks for any help!
  5. It should automatically connect once you plug in the phone and select Android Auto on the screen. You should not have to do the "setup" each time.
  6. Hey everybody, I just wanted to let everyone know something that I found out while troubleshooting an Android Auto connection issue on my 2020 GMC Sierra, base mode audio/screen, no OnStar. Long story short, I had to disconnect to battery to fix a blank screen issue. Afterwards, my Android Auto would not work (CarPlay worked fine with my wife's phone). After messing with it for a good long time, I discovered that Android Auto seems to be pretty dumb with regards to a vehicle with an incorrect date. Once the battery was disconnected, the date reverted back to some time in 2014...obviously well before today being 1/10/2021. Until I corrected the date (and time I guess) on the truck, Android Auto would not connect. Figure this may help some people out if they are having connection issues - make sure the date and time on the truck are correct!
  7. Thank you for the confirmation - much appreciated!
  8. Hey all. So, my father's 2017 Silverado (base level cluster) shows if the truck is in 8 cyl or 4 cyl AFM mode in the DIC. However, I cannot seem to find any way to tell what AFM mode I am in on my 2020 Sierra 1500 with the base level cluster/DIC. Does anyone have any clue how you can tell what mode the truck is running in? The main reason I'm asking is because I want to get one of the Range AFM disablers, and I'd like to see, live, if it ever switches in to 4 cyl mode. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide
