Tacito I also just took delivery of an Elevation I found in my local dealer's inventory. Like you, I assumed that a receiver hitch was also standard equipment on the truck. The one I bought did not have the tow package on it, but when I looked under the rear bumper there appeared to be an actual hitch assembly minus the 2" receiver tube. Instead, it had hole in the assembly that lined up perfectly with a hidden hole in the bumper above. Like previously said, a hitch ball could have been installed, but I really didn't want this. I also noted a sticker on the that hitch assembly was rated at 3500 lbs. I negotiated with my dealer and he ordered the hitch and wiring harness from the GM accessory warehouse with me paying for the parts (at cost, I doubt it) and they installing for free. This was just last week and the parts came right in. I'm not worried about pulling the max or taxing the cooling system because I only short haul a 2000 lb "honey do" trailer for my wife for mulch and stuff. I've got to get my 500 miles on the truck before I next pull the trailer. My dealer had suggested using a local hidden hitch dealer or the like, but I wanted factory parts and the warranty that comes with it. FYI, ordering accessories for the truck from accessories.gmc.com was quick and easy. There are discount codes based on how much you are spending and the parts shipped to the dealer were there in two days. As previously stated, on some accessories there is even an option to pay for installation at check out. Highly recommend it. Hope all works well for you.

Sorry, the NCG CV3ANTNCG is the antenna mount made by NCG (comet). I didn't make that clear. FYI, I had my truck up to about 80 the other day on the interstate and I noticed a slight whistling noise, but it was not too bad. Since my setup is on the driver's side, I ran my coax through the grommet the hood release runs through. Figured if I nicked the cable, it was mechanical and not electrical. Anyway you could switch to a lower profile antenna without sacrificing performance? It may decrease the noise for you. Good luck, MC

Did you install the NCG CV3ANTNCG? I have one mounted on my Sierra on the driver's side using an NMO Larsen 150/450/800. It's only about a foot tall, but I do not experience any wind noise from it. Only thing extra I did was to install some heat shrink tubing on the bracket in the area where it sits between the fender and the hood to eliminate any metal to metal rubbing.

The factories are shipping vehicles minus ordered options with no exception reports going to dealers. My wife ordered a vehicle last Halloween and it was just received this week. In speaking with the dealer today, I asked if they were experiencing this. He advised yes and the only way he can tell is to monitor the invoice. On units with a lower price, he has to check and see what option(s) did not ship. He then has the unpleasant task of advising the buyer what has happened. Per the dealer, my wife's vehicle was held up because of the interior color. She ordered nothing special, just the standard color for the trim level she selected. Unreal. I'm assuming that this is happening with all the other brands, as well ????

Would you provide a little more information about how your truck was optioned? Did you get the hd surround cameras used with towing or did you just order the bed cam as a single RPO? My Sierra, which was built Oct 2020, had the tow package and it came with all the cameras. I didn't spec it, just lucky to find it at a local dealer.

Just as a FYI, I also have a Pinnacle on order. When I discussed the disc brake option, my dealer pushed me away from it. Their explanation was that since I'm on the East coast, I probably would not need them. You being located in the West with more challenging terrain, I can see the need. Have you tried contacting Jayco direct? I have found their support staff knowledgable and very responsive the few times I reached out. You may not be the first to ask that question of them.
