  1. No, I went with Sealight. I had used them on my 2021 with fantastic results. Not the most expensive by any means but I was able to get 3 trouble free years out of them on my old truck.
  2. I put LED bulbs in my 24 WT, they only lasted 3 months and started flickering and randomly turning on and off. No fault codes at all. I put my factory halogens back in. I hate the light output with the halogens but don't want to waste money on more bulbs right now.
  3. I picked up a set of factory 22 Denali tow mirrors for a steal at $500. Only thing that doesn't currently work on mine are the lights. Heat and power work fine. I installed them on a 24 Silverado WT. Think I may order the upgraded door harness to see if it fixes the light issue. Everyone else tends to run the Boost Auto tow mirrors. Don't waste your money on the clip on mirrors. I tried that first and they are pretty well useless in my opinion.
  4. Interesting. Well at least I'm not the only one seeing a quicker bias rear to front.
  5. Added tow mirrors onto my 24 Silverado WT today. Picked them up used for $500 Canadian. Couldn't be happier with them. Power glass and heat work, the only functions I was worried about to be honest. Lights don't work but may look into that with modifying wiring in the future. Such a big difference.
  6. I haven't done any towing or hauling with this truck yet. Interesting though, I'll see if it gets worse this summer with pulling the boat....
  7. Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue. Brake monitor shows 90% life front, 86%rear which is backwards from what you would expect. Truck feels to be lacking brake performance and sometimes seems to grab harder that others, while other times you expect to stop much quicker than you do and have mash the pedal to stop at an intersection. It's a very weird feeling and even harder to explain. It just doesn't feel normal to me. My previous 21 Silverado never had this feeling to it. At times, it almost feels like it's braking in stages and applying rear brakes first. Had it into the dealer today for an oil change and they said everything looks ok and nothing is wrong. Truck only has 20600 kms on it.
  8. Just figured I would share my experience with installing a Back Rack with my Flex Hard fold tonneau cover. I didn't end up using the additional tonneau bracket and it worked out just fine with my between the rail cover. I'll even be able to remove the cover completely without having to take the rack off. I didn't really want to spend another $100 on the riser bracket. Scored the rack and standard brackets for $150 yesterday.
  9. I went with Gold inserts front and rear from advanced trims on EBay on my 24. Been on for a year now and no issue with them at all. Had the amazon specials on my 21 for 3 years and never had an issue either.
  10. I've heard of them, just never considered them because up to this point I never had an issue with the cheaper option. Thanks for the information, I'll look into them.
  11. I don't have a lot of rust on mine yet, but my 24 silverado is filled with rock chips. Most of them are down the sides of the box. I do a lot of gravel road driving though so I kind of expected it. Never should have gone with a black truck lol
  12. I have a 2024 Silverado 1500 WT. A few months ago I installed both high and low beam Sealight led bulbs. I've run the same bulbs in my last 4 trucks with great results. The light output was always amazing and never had an issue with them flickering or burning out. A few weeks ago, I started to notice the lights slowly going dim and then getting brighter constantly while driving. Monday it was really bad and the passenger low beam completely died and then came back to life about 10 minutes later but the flickering continued. I ended up pulling them all out and went back to the halogen and everything is fine again. Now from day one the led bulbs were never as bright as I had hoped for or even close to my previous bulbs of the same brand. My last truck was a 21 silverado and I couldn't have been happier with them. Anyone else experience a similar issue after swapping bulbs? I know the manual states not to swap out the halogen for led. Maybe there actually is a reason for it? Maybe I got a bad set of bulbs? Just curious....
  13. I also plastic dipped the Z71 emblems gold to match lol
  14. A little gold lettering on the WT to spruce it up a little. Added the tailgate lettering as well.
  15. Ended up getting a recall notice on my 2021, 1500 the day after I traded it in lol
