  1. After 1 month of owning my new 2019 AT4 without any issues, I had the Nav SD card not installed error. The next day, the nav system went through s long loading process. Since then, with every vehicle startup, I now have a 10-25 second process of the nav system loading before it can be used. Previously, it was always nearly instantaneous. Also, the radio will be randomly self-muted. I brought it to the dealer last week and they did an infotainment system software update claiming to have fixed the problem. Nope, it’s still taking 10-20 seconds to load navigation and the radio was muted this morning. Anyone with 2019 Sierra AT4’s or Denali’s noticing a change in navigation loading, specifically now seeing loading screens where there haven’t been before? Is this just normal Nav function and somehow, for some reason, I just didn’t have it happen or didn’t notice it the first month? Could GMC pushed an OTA update that now cause the Nav to take longer to load?
  2. We just bought a 19 At4. We are coming from Toyota and the back up guides don’t do the weird (to us anyway) bendy backup guides. We test drove many vehicles before buying this and some of them had options to change the guide to static or bendy. We can’t seem to find anything about it or this bad boy. Only thing that comes up is people asking what happened to the lines when they hit a button lol. Anyway I appreciate any info you might have!
  3. Has anyone had trouble receving the account verification email when setting up a new user profile on the infotainment system? I just bought a 2019 AT4 and tried creating a profile twice. I've been able to create a profile and save settings, but have not received the account verification email it claims to have sent. Any thoughts???
  4. I really like the bold/big muscular grille on the Sierra. It stands out a lot on Denali with that massive chrome surround. However i don't like chrome. I think this contrast is somehow lost on the AT4 because of the body-colored grille surround. I'm in the process of trying to wrap or paint the grille surround on my AT4 to black but i want to keep my factory red grille surround in-case i ever decide to go back to the stock look. I was looking to buy just the grille surround, wrap or paint it and install. However, it seems the grille is available as one-piece only and you can't get just the surround alone. The whole grille is fairly expensive, over $700. The alternative for me is to buy the accessories grille ($450) in black and just install. I think the accessories grille is the Elevation trim grille and because of my vanity , i don't want to install a Elevation grille on an AT4. I don't believe i can swap the insides. Anyone done this? Grille surround indicated in yellow. Accessories grille in black.
  5. The AT4 I purchased from the dealer, had everything but the performance package I wanted. So, the same day, I paid the extra cost to have it added. Once it was finished, I was excited about the purchase and the way it sounded. Now, weeks later, I'm starting to get picky about things and making sure everything is how I want it. After my cousin brought it to my attention that I should've made sure all the work was actually done, I looked up what the performance package consisted of. While I can see the performance exhaust is installed--I noticed that the tires on it are not the Goodyear Duratrac the GMC site lists; they're Bridgestone Dueler's. Next, the intake isn't the cone-type performance intake filter, its the flat fliter. Are these an alternate performance package option? Or did I get gipped? If so, would the dealer be willing to recognize these missing details, or would they think I just swapped the parts myself? I'd go down to the dealer right now myself, but the oil field life keeps me at work. Haha. It's a long read, but I'd appreciate the input. Thank you.
  6. Installed the borla type-s exhaust couple days ago. build quality is excellent, fitment was absolutely spot on. took me 5 beers and about 2 hours... my thoughts.. on the system... also have a type S on my SRT... 1. Cold start is aggressive! It literally barks.... I was very surprised by this, much louder than my SRT system... 2. After engine warms up and rpms settle down it has the very standard s-type deep burble at idle. If the truck is parked and just running, walking behind it is just music to my ears. Very deep little burble that just sounds great. 3. As you ramp up the rpms and roll through the gears, the sound is deep and pronounced, this is the loudest type-s exhaust I’ve heard. Not in a bad way, just know that you will hear this exhaust unless you absolutely butter the throttle and accelerate like an old woman. 4. No drone in 9th or 10th gear.. no goofy noises or vibrations with cylinder deactivation stuff so that’s a major plus. conclusion happy with the purchase, louder than expected but still nothing too crazy. Getting the ATAK version would be overboard for a pickup in my opinion... engineers at borla said their touring style is identical to the gmc branded perf exhaust in regards to sound output. so their 3 levels are touring- tame type-s - pretty big jump, aggressive! Crazy cold start that barks atak- crazy man over the top sound, I don’t think many guys would go this extreme will get better videos soon
  7. Looking for a take off set of AT4 wheels tires for sale near Minnesota/Wisconsin/Iowa
  8. My 2017 Sierra had a 2" Motofab front level installed by a local accessory shop, and I had unresolved noises and issues which were troubleshooted by the installing shop and my dealership until I got rid of the truck. I traded the truck for a 2019 AT4 and am now very hesitant to level a brand new truck. My dealership is recommending they install the Pro Comp 63235 for $875. They even have a few trucks on the lot with this kit installed. Dealer says they will stand by factory warranty if they do the work, but Pro Comp says this kit is not rated for the AT4, so I am hesitant to go this route. The local accessory shop is quoting the only kit made for the AT4 - Rough Country Sku: 1318 for $350. My end goal is to level the front and go with 295/65/20 (35.1") or 295/60/20 (33.9") Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but my concerns are warranty and sacrificing ride quality. The noises and constantly chasing issues made me hate driving my previous truck. Has anyone ever been denied OEM warranty work due to an after market front level? Rough Country says to contact them immediately if this would be the case, but the "Warranty Guard" fine print looks like the beginning of a run-around. I appreciate any thoughts and experiences.
  9. I have an AT4 with the Bose sound system and there is no reason for me to ever go above 1/3 volume. Maybe I will go to half if I’m all by myself..... I thought it it had something to do with my phone being connected to Bluetooth but nope, switched to radio and same thing. Ive never turned it to full volume, worried the speakers might blow. anyone else notice this?
  10. For anyone that’s interested, I emailed Bistein about the availability of their 5100 series adjustable coilovers for the 2019 Sierra AT4, and they stated “late 2019.”
  11. Similar to the 18" post, I want to see a thread with a 100% stock setup and what size tires you put on for 20" stock wheels only. This thread is not for leveling kits or aftermarket wheels. Post up some pictures! Let us know what size your tires are and what kind. I'm really only interested in doing very minor trimming if needed. My last truck I just had to zip tie the liner a little further back. Thanks! My current stock AT4

  13. I waited several extra months for the AT4's release to purchase my truck. Less than 1 day of light driving and 70 miles into my new truck the transmission started to slip in and out of gear. I pulled into a parking lot and when I shifted into revers the truck slowly rolled forward. Onstar had a flat bed tow truck there within an hour to bring the day old truck back to the dealer. The dealer can not start work on the truck until GM approves the new transmission. I am told that there is a lot of extra paperwork and approval because there are so few miles and it is a new truck. I would think that GM would want to maintain their customer loyalty and support their new designs before aggravating buyers of new trucks. I have been a lifelong GM buyer, but thinking that i should have gone with a Ford or Ram. Has anyone else had to wait for repairs on a brand new vehicle?
  14. I have a Trail Boss LT that I will be installing a Motofab 1.5" leveling kit in. I have been doing all kinds of research on what size Nitto Ridge Grapplers I want to put on my 20" Fuel Maverick rims with a +1 offset. Mainly been looking at the 295/60r20 (33.93x11.77) and the 305/55r20 (33.23x12.44). I like the width of the 305/55 but wish it had the height of the 295/60. Was curious if any other trail boss owners had some pictures they'd want to share of their aftermarket tire setups. These trucks are BIG and IMO the stock tires look too small on them. Trying to fill out the wheel well as mush as possible without rubbing too bad. Not opposed to trimming some liner, but no metal. Thanks guys!
  15. My AT4 that I picked up a couple days ago.
  16. John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 1-23-2019 If you have not started with our prior story today on the all-new 2020 Sierra HD it may make sense to do so. This post picks up from there and highlights just the AT4 trim line of the new Sierra HD. The all-new 2020 Sierra Heavy Duty AT4 expands on the GMC AT4's reach with a distinctive off-road identity for the new Sierra HD. Distinguished in its dark chrome exterior finishes and front and rear bumpers and a grille surround finished in body color, the AT4 has its own style. The grille design is also bolder than on the other HD trims, and is finished in black chrome and set off by the AT4's distinctive red vertical recovery hooks. The interior continues the AT4-specific darkened trim, including dark-tinted and textured aluminum finishes on the steering wheel, center stack and sill plates, as well as a unique Jet Black interior with Kalahari color accents in the seats and live stitching. AT4's leather seating has mini-perforated inserts and embroidered AT4 badging on the headrests, along with standard all-weather floor liners. The new Sierra AT4 Heavy Duty's unique suspension and supporting technologies enable its off-road capabilities. Features include: Off-road suspension, Rancho Shocks, skid plates, Eaton locking rear differential. Eighteen-inch wheels wrapped with Michelin all-terrain tires, with 20-inch wheels available. Traction Select System with specific Off-Road mode. Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist. Segment-exclusive 15-inch diagonal Head-Up Display with Off-Road Inclinometer. HD Surround Vision for low-speed views of vehicle surroundings.
  17. As the subject states - had the unfortunate experience of being 1 day into ownership, 148 miles when braking at a red light the Brakes seized and warning comes on to service the Brake Assist. I loved the truck, but man, sure puts a dampen on your mood after putting 10 grand down less than 24 hours prior.
