Similar to the 18" post, I want to see a thread with a 100% stock setup and what size tires you put on for 20" stock wheels only. This thread is not for leveling kits or aftermarket wheels. Post up some pictures! Let us know what size your tires are and what kind. I'm really only interested in doing very minor trimming if needed. My last truck I just had to zip tie the liner a little further back. Thanks! My current stock AT4

Quite a while ago, I bought a set of factory 18" rims from a midnight edition HD. I was planning to run 35x12.50x18's, but tire prices went up and some tires became hard to find. Finally, I found a good deal at my local tire shop on a set of Sumitomo Encounter AT's in 325/65/18. For those that don’t know, Falken tires are made by Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. The Sumitomo Encounter AT has a lot of similarities to the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, which I ran previously and was very pleased with. The Encounter AT is a fairly aggressive all-terrain, with a 60,000 mile warranty and the 3PMS rating. The tread depth in my size is 20/32, which is about the deepest you’ll find in an all-terrain. The 325/65/18 has an overall diameter of 34.7” and a section width of 13.3”. They look huge compared to my old 285/75/17’s. My suspension is completely stock, except for a 1.5" crank (7-8 turns) on the torsion bars and shock extensions. Much to my surprise (and delight), the 325/65/18’s fit without any additional modifications. They’re really tight, but they clear. They barely rub the frame at full lock, but I'm not worried about that. I’ll probably pull back my fender liners with zip ties, for extra peace of mind. They're very close when hitting a bump while turning. They look like they belong on the truck, and I’m quite happy with them. These trucks have a very blocky/wide body style, and a bigger tire helps fill the wheel wells and improve the overall look. Here's a few pictures...

Hi all, I just bought a new truck but the tires were shot. I looked at the tires and they are 35x12.5x18 with the stock GM rims. I called Discount Tire and they said they won't put these tires on these rims... What gives? Did the previous owner put the wrong tires on these rims? Is it unsafe? Thank you, Scott

Hey guys, Just wanted to see what y'all thought about this price I've been quoted for a 6.5" Zone Lift for my 2015 Silverado 1500, 20x10 -12 offset Maverick Wheels and 35x12.5 Cooper S/T Maxx Tires. Total cost for all of it including mounting / balancing tires, shipping costs, and lug nuts all for $3700 even. Brand NEW! Let me know what yall think. Should I pull the trigger?

I’ll try to keep this short and sweet. I have a 2014 Sierra 1500 4x4 (Crew Cab, SLT, Z71, blah, blah, blah) with 3:42 gears. I’m running stock rubber. 275/55 R 20. I believe these are 31.9 inch tall tires. My plan is to lift my truck and tune it as soon as I hit 36,000 miles. I want to run 35’s after I get my 6 inch lift installed. I found this calculator. http://www.4lo.com/calc/geartire.php I’ve been pretty obsessed with it and the numbers it’s giving me since I found it. If I want to run a 35 inch tire, my current tire size is 31.9, and I have 3.42 gears front and rear, to keep the same gear ratios, I’d need a 3.75:1 axle ratio. Which is pretty close to 3.73. Catch my drift? I know I’ll never get the acceleration and fuel economy back after taller and heavier tires, but shouldn’t my truck be pretty close in drivability and at least in the same ball park with stock fuel economy and acceleration if I were to install some 3.73 gears at the same time as I installed the tires? Someone out there has to have done this same swap with this setup. Just curious about the results.

I finally up graded my suspension lift on my truck to a 6" RCX lift in conjunction with a 1.25 RC body lift. so in total im running 7" of lift on my 2009 Chevy silverado 1500. i would like to run 35" tires with 18" wheels. i currently run 34" on 20" wheels and dont like how thin they are. im wondering about back spacing recommended to do this. im already planning on trimming some off the front and doing the "NorCal" fender mod. im new to worrying about back spacing so all knowledge and recommendations are welcomed. Thanks! pics of the lift are not up yet pics on my profile are outdated
