  1. Drained mine again after 2,500 miles...3/4c :O
  2. I'm not defending RX's business model or their online presence, but two points... 1) PayPal is probably the best online payment option available from a consumer protection stand point. 2) There's no such thing as "free" shipping.
  3. That is my comment. ;) Also, if you look up a few posts, gone_fishing has posted an illustration of the connection points for the 5.3 & 6.2, noting the differences.
  4. I run E85 almost exclusively. I installed mine at about 3,500 miles. Not really build up but some discoloration. Excellent post gone_fishing. That should easily answer any future questions.
  5. No vent hose that I can see on the passenger side bank.
  6. Yes, that's how I have mine done.

  8. Got my discount no problemo
  9. I've got the Belltech 3/6 kit. If I had do overs, I would just level the rear down and be done with it.
  10. Just emptied mine after about 3k miles. 1/3 cup. :O
  11. Got mine today. Busy spectating at the NHRA Fall Nationals so I probably won't install it till next week.
  12. Oh the irony. :S
  13. I get you. They'll probably get around to it. This was essentially a heads up to people that are ready to purchase now (since we emailed them directly about it). They have no need to "pitch" their product. Hell, I modded an older version to fit mine. As far as performance, the factory boxes are actually cold air and efficient. The addition of a high flow filter and replacing the factory tube that eliminates all the sound diffusers is were the performance gains are realized. I actually think the factory setup in the 2014 is very efficient. At the end of the day, its still an LS engine in essentially the same configuration so I believe the previous test results are still relevant. Also, its not that the Airaid setup is more than performant than the other brands, it's that it's within a narrow competitive range and far less expensive since you're not replacing the factory box.
  14. You're most welcome. Seeing as the MIT for the 2014 was just announced that day, it would seem self-evident that there wouldn't be any independent testing results. I'm perfectly fine pointing it out directly tho.
  15. You'll have to extrapolate & assume.

  17. MIT is just the tube connected to the stock airbox. Jr kit adds a high flow air filter. Blackbear Performance did a comparison. I'll dig up the link.
  18. I just wanted to drop you a quick follow up note and let you know that we have finally released the long overdue MIT & JR kits for the 2014 Chevrolet/GMC 5.3L trucks. The MIT will retail for $169.99 and the JR kits are $219.99 with the oiled filter and $229.99 with the dry filter. 19. Do those shocks bolt up using the factory mounts and bolts?
  20. Please explain this cleaning service.
  21. The point is you're cherry picking your data points. You're welcome to believe you're getting 30mpg but I guarantee your wallet knows the difference.
  22. The one gauge you can't trick is your wallet. ;)
