  1. Hahaha. "irresponsible tuning firms", that's actually included in the patent.
  2. All this has been asked and answered. This conversation will soon be buried in the noise too. "Interesting" user name, BTW.
  3. Wow, nice catch there.
  4. Yeah, I wouldn't be running E85. The FHS option provides an alcohol sensor & enables the correct tables in the ECM.
  5. Can you go look at the RPO codes on your glovebox and tell us if you have either or both of these RPO codes? FHO FHS
  6. 1. As a rule, straight thru designs will be louder than chambered mufflers. 2. You don't want back pressure. 3. Flowmaster 50 series mufflers don't drone. The "heavy duty" version, aka the SUV version, is a bit quieter.
  7. Thanks. Good to know. I definitely have the horrible 1-2 shift hesitation. I'll let Justin know for my next tune.
  8. What does the throttle boost do? Is that what makes the throttle seem laggy?

  11. They are factory 18" wheels that I had powdercoated. Not in this picture, but I've since had the rears widened an inch to 9.5". Running 305/45R18 Nittos 555R in the rear. I've since rid myself of the Yokos. Worst traction I've ever experienced in a tire. I'm going back to a factory height tire. Hoping Toyo Proxy ST IIs have better traction than the Yokos Truck has a 3"/6" drop using Belltech drop spindles & flipkit. 5.3/6A/3.42.
  12. I don't think jumper cables are recommended anymore. The recommendation is to use a portable jump starter. Most have a USB to allow charging your phone.
  13. The LS7 had valve issues. That motor is in the C6Z and the Gen4 Z/28
  14. 13 sec is typical 60s era muscle car territory. For a stock 6000 lb truck, that's getting it.
  15. I've seen 3 different people post their *stock* CC 4wd 6.2L running 13.6 - 13.7. That .2 -.3 faster than my RCSB 5.3L E85, LT & tuned. These GenV trucks get it on.
  16. Since you're paying for it with your tax dollars you might as well take advantage of it at the pump. ;)
  17. The K2 trucks do indeed include a sensor for alcohol content. They put it back in.
  18. BTW, Jason @ Grabiak has been extraordinarily helpful in running down all the part numbers.
  19. No I'm still trying to piece everything together. I'm certain when I get done, I'll document this in detail with all the necessary part numbers. And then don't share it. :S
  20. I was just going to post my problem to this thread but i figured out the fix. Hopefully this may help a few people. I run drag radials on my truck which means I run tire pressure lower than recommended. I got a low pressure warning on one of my tires the other day and despite airing it up, the warning lights would not go off. So after reading through the manual for the fifth time, I paid attention to the phrase "...recommended tire pressure...". So I added air a bit higher than the sticker on the door jamb and the warning light went out. Lowered pressure back down to where it should be and it's still off. HTH.
