Just stock sizes but I like them. They are about 6lbs lighter than stock wheels though.

I believe in another post, someone pointed out all thats in the can is not oil. Some is condensation from the can heating and cooling. That is why there is massive amounts of "oil" but yet no real drop in oil level. Wish I could recall where I read that. I do have a can on mine and pour it out ever so often. However, I have yet to see oil loss that would equal what I pour. With that in mind though there is oil in there. Back in the day it was all vented to the atmosphere. If memory serves the oil dripping out onto the ground is why they are no longer vented to the atmosphere.

I tried to get with Kicker to see if there was a way to purchase the DSP/AMP just from them but no go. He did mention the amp in the video you posted though. Anyone have any info on if they are any good or not even with stock speakers? I would like to avoid amplifying the dash speakers though as I dont want to hear the chimes and blinkers being really loud.

Id almost be willing to bet, as long as there is no frame damage, they will fix your truck.

Yeah now I wish I would have went that route also. Not happy at all and I cannot find just the DSP/AMP and Harness. I would like to swap the speakers out also but I read that without an amp its not a good idea.

I am looking for cost and if someone may possibly have for sale, the Kicker DSP/Amp, harness, etc that comes in the kit? I only purchased the sub and it sucks by itself. Has a lot of bass but kills everything else. If you have one for sale, what is the going rate? Thanks.

Yeah I wish I would have gotten that one now. Dont suppose you have a part number for the extra processor and harness? I am hoping I can get it separate and fix the issue.

Had the Kicker OEM sub installed. I did not get the version that comes with the external amp. I can say it surely has bass in it now. Too bad its a bit over powering. Anyone have a suggestion on bringing the other speakers up in volume but the bass down without killing the mids by lowering the bass on the head unit? I have tried different settings and its just killing mids. I had to unplug it for the time being til I can figure out what to do to fix the overall sound. Id rather have less bass and better overall sound than more bass. Kinda makes me wish I wouldnt have changed anything.

I purchased the mirrors, switch and harnesses from him. Stand up guy that loves to help. I went from having factory mirrors that only had defrost to power folding tow mirrors with blinkers, reverse lights and running lights.

Yeah, I got mine on on a week or so ago now. I absolutely love them. They dont cause any vibration although the glass itself does vibrate a bit.

Added power folding tow mirrors today. They are amazing! Big shout out to Phil for his harnesses as well as getting me the power folding mirrors and the switch since the truck didnt come with it. Even took texts from me today when I had a couple of questions. A real stand up guy.

If memory serves, other posts here as well as a GM rep, you have to purchase new door wiring harness also to get the new mirrors to be completely functional. If yours is the same cost as mine (2016) then they run $225 for the pair from GM.

Had the Putco lightbar installed today....too bad its the wrong one. I ordered the two color but apparently it showed up broken and the tech didnt realize that it was only two color instead of three. So he installed the three color without saying anything. Imagine my surprise with the lights didnt match. Man it sucks being OCD. Now I have to wait til they get a new one in to get it fixed.

I have indeed thought about it. I would have the ones off the accessory site installed. The lower side especially backing up is what I would like to increase. I have never understood making big vehicles then putting small mirrors on.

Would you say the tow mirrors are worth it for better visibility over stock even though not currently towing? How is the vibration I have read about etc?

Are there issues with visibility when changing lanes that we would need cameras? I have thought about adding tow mirrors, even though I dont really tow right now. Figured it would add visibility. I dont think the stock ones cover enough.

I know what you mean about being distinctive. That is my goal in the end. I want her to be mine now everyone elses. I just meant the cost vs amount of light output. Granted even that is subjective lol. On the issue of the retractable cover opening on the passenger side, apparently I will have to take it to GM and have them do a warranty claim. I spoke with the manufacturer and they said if its not an adjustment issue then there may be an issue with the bearings. Should prove interesting how this plays out as the manufacturer says GM covers the warranty but on GM's accessory page they say the manufacturer does lol. Go figure.

How bright at night vs the stock HIDs? Was it worth it?

Today I got finished with the retractable tonneau cover and bed extender. Here are a few images of it. Apparently I cant only do one at a time so I guess Ill put up a couple of posts.

So the SCT X4 I have will still read codes and gauges etc. Guess I just cannot tune the truck with it. Granted, DoD isnt tuned out I just use a Range so not sure if that will have any affect on heat when in 4cy mode. I would assume it would since its only working half as much. However, when riding around today, It did not hit over 187 even idling. The analog gauge at the time was almost at 210 then. So I assume it probably wouldn't go over 190 running around. This was with it being 91 outside. I guess Id call that a win. LOL. On a further note, for what I did today, she got a bath and the inside cleaned as well. Also took the cheap tailgate cap off and put OEM on it. Serves me right to buy that off Amazon. Sat too tall compared to the sides.
