How do you clamp the flapper open?

I know this is late but I’m going to be running this exact same set up on my 2021 Denali. Same vision wheels same size tires with 2 inch level. Everything is in the mail. I’ve been racking my brain doing research. What kind of trimming did you have to do to get it to no rub? Thanks! Great looking truck btw!
