  1. Ya I've seen a few on here. More or less just needed a rant. Tired if dealing with all the ****** from this damn thing and spending more time in the repair shop than on the road.
  2. This might be a bit if long post. Truck is a 2021 silverado LT. 5.3L Just a hair over 30,000 miles. So on 11/05 I got off work and went out to my truck. Started and had a odd start. Almost like the key or button wasn't held down long enough. Didn't think anything of and drove home about 2 miles later and hard knock from the engine, hard shifting from all gears and a rough idle. Dropped it off at the dealership on Monday. Was not given a loaner and was not told how long it would be. After going round and round for a month I finally talked to someone that told me the lifters went. They didn't say why the went. Then they told me it was running fine but the throttle is stuck wide open. They tried to replace thr throttle body. Nothing. There now replacing the computer. Over a month at the dealership and every week no loaner is available. Corporate said they couldn't do anything about it. This the 2nd time the computer had been replaced in this truck. It's been nothing but a headache since I got this damn truck. I'm ready to park it in Chevrolet's show room through the front window. My 2011 never had any issues over 350,000 miles and never replaced any engine parts in and it ran great when I traded it in. Biggest mistake I've ever made with a truck. Sorry for the long rant. Just wanted everyone to be aware that there is an issue with the lifters in this truck and engine model that seems to go out around 30,000 miles.
  3. Do you have the website for this tune?
  4. So after my 3rd or 4th time with customer service still no luck getting the idle time out shut off. The have never heard of a TSB before. There tech department has no idea what I'm talking about. Tried to explain that I work as a firefighter and I have chevy's on my department with that feature turned off and they still have no idea how. I'm ready to sell this damn truck.
  5. Tried calling the dealership and GM tech support about this, they all said that they have never heard of it. I keep going round and round with them over this and it's getting old. I'm about ready to take my truck back or sell it.
  6. On the phone with GM now trying to see if this will work.
  7. Just finished installing the pulsar LT and it doesn't appear to work to shut off the idle feature. Still going round and round with GM about getting this damn feature turned off.
  8. So I may have found a solution to this issues after going round and round with GM. There is an after market part called a Pulsar LT that will disable the auto start and stop. From what there tech told me the idle stop feature is tied into this. So when that is disabled with the Pulsar it will disable the idle stop. When I get the money for it, that's my next purchase. Can't have my truck shutting down when I'm shutting down a highway with my emergency lights. POC Firefighter / Paramedic.
