    That’s why they have the trail boss. I thought the ZR2 was supposed to be something special. Like GM’s version of the TRX or Raptor.

    I would love for GM to come out with an SS version. Maybe something based off the custom but with the 6.2 or better and with slightly lowered suspension and so forth. Anyone else think that would be sweet or buy one?

    I like the look of the new Tundras and their new power train. They will get a serious look next time around for me.

    The ZR2 should have come with a supercharged engine not just the same old 6.2 to really separate it from the pack.

    I actually prefer the pre-refresh Sierra front end more. I think the new grill looks like it has a big smiley face now but looks are subjective and it may grow on me. I’m also not sure about the bow tie logo up so high on the grill of the new Silverado. Something looks off to me on that. All the other changes are great though.

    This is just a street truck for me. I don’t tow and haul only normal items. I will be lowering the truck as I like the look. Again the 2.7t felt quicker than the 5.3 when I drove both so I went with it. I don’t think I could get the 6.2 with the elevation package or I would have gotten that and that was the look I wanted.

    I have driven both and thought the 2.7t to be quicker off the line and better for city driving. I don’t know what the quarter mile numbers are though.

    Don’t see a choice for the 2.7t? Would choose that over the sluggish 5.3 all day.

    I personally thought the 5.3 was a dog compared to the 2.7t. I have not driven the diesel but the 6.2 would have been the only engine I would have gotten over the turbo.

    Decided to add a few pictures of my rig. I recently installed some turbo logos on the fenders and turbo snail decal on the back window. I usually debadge my vehicles but thought the 2.7 needed a little something.

    So you can’t currently tune any of their engines? Last GM vehicle I had was a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT V8 and there where plenty of tunes available for it. I guess things have changed since then?

    I’d take a tune with those Caddy numbers if they offered it. I’m not complaining about the current setup I find it plenty peppy around town but will always take more if I can get it!

    Too bad then. I hope there is some custom tunes available in the future then.

    Has anyone heard if Gm will offer a re-tune option for us 2019 - 2022 limited 2.7 turbo owners? I’m seeing the 2022 refresh models will be at 430 torque now. I would definitely pay for this.

    So far I have only found that maxtrac has a 2/4 kit available. Seems like McGaughy’s has one in development and bell tech has a 2/2 kit. I may wait for the McGaughy’s to come out.

    I plan on keeping the stock 20’s for now since I like the way they look. I’d prefer to do a 2/4 kit since I don’t want to do a c notch or anything like that. I just want to get a kit and have no drive train issues.

    Do you know if they have a 2/4 kit available for my year truck yet? I saw a 4/6 but don’t want to go that low. Thanks.
