    Just got an email that gm is recalling the hd's for the tailgate dropping fiasco. No remedy available. Well, us redneck engineers have one. Might not be a pavement queen truck type repair, but for us dirt farmer, construction types it works...

    Nice thing about it is you can't see it, 'cept for when a person drops the skid plate to grease. You could rattle can it black. My ocd it's that bad yet and all my switch and receptacle plate screws are all vertical in the house and shop!

    I received the email, but was confused by the question if my diffs looked like the 2015. My trucks are in snow. No way in hell I'm crawling underneath to see. The 2500 front end, I am sure, is slam packed full of snow. Thanks for blasting this out there on social media. I hope this front diff cover becomes reality. I love social media. Back in my day I had to insult people one at a time.

    Have you checked the gear oil in the front diff? Both my front diff's were low from new.
