  1. Got it at a shop and they said oil pressure checks out and that its the common valve train issue
  2. So i went out started the truck and it instantly gave me low oil pressure warning and immediately started ticking for the first time. Has anyone experienced this? How effed am i?
  3. I just installed a 6 inch lift and bigger tires and rims on my 2014, Silverado 1500. a month now after doing so my steering is making a rubbing noise only driving slow making turns like while parking and while stopped and holding the break, but if I let go of the break, the noise stops. I have brand new upper and lower ball joints brand new hub assemblies and my tie rods are greased. it looks like my steering box is moving a little bit but I know it is mounted on rubber bushings but I don't know how much is too much. i've included a video of me sitting in the parking lot while holding the break and turning the wheels left and right and you can hear the creaking sound that it makes.
  4. So i made the mistake of installing the rough country 6 inch knuckle lift on my 14 silverado little did i know it was gonna push my tires out like 5 inches past the side of my truck. Does it look cool as ****** hell yeh but problem is after installing the bushwacker pocket style flares they still poke alot and the flares are more of an accent piece rather than a flare. Do they make something i can attach to the flare to extend them more? I would hate to have to remove these they were a ****** to install and werent cheap.
  5. Just put a 6 inch lift and 35s on my 14 1500 and now i gotta do a norcal to gain clearance in the rear of my tires but what about the front?? I already had to trim my bumper corners but im still rubbing on the fenderwell in the front
  6. Lol this is exactly what happened to me immediately had to chop my bumper corners and now im gonna have to do the norcal just trying to figure out the which method now
  7. Putting a 6 inch lift on my truck and need to remove the steering rack but theres one of the bolts just doesnt wanna come out and is fetching on the rubber bushing it runs through was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and what they did?
  8. 6 inch lift and putting on 35 inch by 12.50 cooper tires on 20x10 fuel rebel wheels do you guys think i will need to norcal it?
  9. Went for an inspection and the guy said my ebrake was too loose and failed me. I found the adjuster on the driverside but knowhere have i been able to find specs on what is too loose and what is right?
  10. Ive got a 14 silverado 1500 and was wondering what is normal for these transmissions? I experience hsrd shifts preety regular like if i accelerate quickly at a higher speed it will slam into gear i have replaced the fluid and filter and it felt better for awhile but then went right back to the same thing. The shifting in general just seems to hesitate and isnt always smooth like you would assume it's supposed to be.
  11. So im going to be installing the 6 inch rc kit on my 2014 silverado and was just wondering if anyone had any tips for the install that would help make the process smoother. i was looking online and it looks way more extensive then i originally thought.
  12. So does anybody know how hard this would be to repair or how much about it would cost me to have it fixed? I can weld but ive never attempted any body work im thinking the painting would be the issue because i dont have the equipment to color match and match the sheen of the clear coat
  13. 14 silverado 1500 im putting a 6 inch rc lift on it and looking at the nitto ridge grapplers or recon grapplers on a fuel rebel wheel but idk what size wheel and tire combo will fit? I want 20 inch rims on a 35 if i can but i dont mind running a 33.
  14. So i have a 2 in lift right now with the 2-4 in lift control arms but now im going to the rough country 6 in lift is this kit designed to be used with the oem control arms? If nit what control arms will work for me?
  15. So im planning on putting a 4 or 5 inch lift on my silverado right now i have the 2 inch and was wondering if anybody on here has put wheel spacers on with only the 2 inch lift because i bought some awhile ago but was waiting to put them on till i got my lift kit. Would like to see how they would look if anybody has pictures
