  1. This was before I installed the winch. But it provides a decent look at the bumper.
  2. Not a cheap option by any means, but I love my FabFours Matrix bumper with prerunner. It affords me 2x 3” cubes on each side (2pair) plus a 30” light bar but is also able to mount a winch. I mounted an open road 13500 winch. Any winch you mount has to relocate the control box if you have a 30” light bar installed but it’s really not that big a deal. I actually prefer having the control box in the engine bay, it’s much higher and I’ve had my whole bumper underwater/mud several times. The control box is the weak point so far as “ipx67 ipx68” is concerned. My box in the engine bay never gets wet, I’d have to screw up big to accomplish that with a 3.5” lift and 35” tires on it.
  3. I’ve had my z series for about 4 years, I ordered it as soon as I bought the truck. Also have the cap pack drawer in it. I’ve been very happy with it. Though, I saw the overland series it isn’t any stronger than the Z. It just has some bed liner on it, as if you’re going to protect it from pinstriping. You won’t. Not if you’re actually using it in the woods, otherwise it’s just a “mall-crawler”. Not worth the extra 250. The rooftop load bearing rating is the same on both. If you need a higher roof weight look at RSI or another metal topper.
  4. I know I’ve been overloading my 2019 when overlanding. I added a “super spring” and my truck has a cognito 3.5” lift/level kit with Fox shocks. So far (35-50k miles since the super shock) no issues.
  5. Yakima makes a temporary rook rack system (temp= removable) it’s not rates for much weight but it take a kayak for example. Otherwise, at not a huge jump in price is UpTop… They are Not a removable rack, but rates for WAY more weight and not far off the price from Yakima. Personally, I am planning on uptop for at least a rack on my A.R.E. Topper and probably the actual roof rack as well.
