  1. Id check the connections in the wiring harness between the jbox and taillights first
  2. All good, Im only in with my time and a couple of clips LOL. Ill update after I look under the driver seat, I also saw that possibly on some years and trims the heated seat module is built into the seat memory module under the driver seat Update: not under drivers seat either, only thing under drivers seat is GM23135935 which is memory seat module. I'm compley stumped, unless anyone has anymore input it's looking like I no longer have heated seats
  3. Intresting, I guess you learn something new everyday, thats why Im on this page
  4. Got the part in today but cannot find it under the pass seat, no wires running up to the cushions. My truck does have the cooled seats which ive seen that possibly the heat module is in the blower assembly in the back of the seat. Anyone know where this module could be if ist not under the pass seat? I love the hell out of the truck most of the time, but have found more and more often I want to park it in the middle of the field and set it on fire and go buy an 05 WT without all the computer BS they are shoving into vehicles these days
  5. Gotcha, one of my buddies has the knockoff range from amazon, I think it was about $75
  6. This guy knows the trick, also replace the filter every 45k
  7. Just buy a Range Disabler...
  8. I'll update here when to parts come in and I have time to screw with it
  9. I would guess around $150, they would probably charge you for an hour of labor. If its an ex Texas gamewarden truck like the other guys, post some pictures!
  10. Intresting, our 17 suburban dosent have it, granted its a low end LT. The only truck we have thats higher than an LT is my SLT but its a 2015
  11. I would put it here, wouldnt be as noticable as putting it on the chrome and would give you an easy shot straight to the battery
  12. I believe the suburbans were like the silverados where it was an option starting for MY2016
  13. Check all the wires next, broken wire, loose terminal, etc.
  14. Id ask again in the Suburban/Tahoe side of the K2XX forum for someone who might know more about the suburbans. I would assume that it would be the same process as the trucks. You would definatly have to have it programmed into the BCM. Not sure on the wiring. Should bolt up pretty easy
  15. It does, I wold like if the lights came on by just opening the door and not having to press the button. 100% first world problems LOL
  16. Gotcha, as much as I like to do the things correctly I'll probably do this. After all it is a work truck
  17. That could be possible but very unlikely that all 4 of the elements went bad at the same time. The way I understand it when a wire on an element breaks just that element stops working. The module is cheaper than diagnosing at the dealer. If it works with a new module than it only costs me around $30 to fix it, if the new module dosent fix it than it costs me $30 to diagnose the problem.
  18. Good to know, one dealer says it needs to be programed but the other dealer says it dosent.
  19. I'll update here when I get the part
  20. Thanks, Im pretty confident around vehicles. Just couldnt find much help on the youtube for this job
  21. Im 99% sure my heated seats arent working due to a bad module. The module is around $60 with programming from the dealer, which I dont mind replacing but would rather not pay the dealer almost $400 in labor. Has anyone replaced the module themselves?
  22. I did not want to drill holes anywhere in the truck so I wired my front lightbar to the high beams and the rear lights to the cargo lights and used the boost auto cargo in drive kit
  23. Very happy with my RanchHand full replacement
  24. I already have this installed, my cargo lights come on when unlocking the truck at night. Because of my job I am constantly grabbing tools and parts out of my truck when it's night but I dont lock it and unlock it every time so cargo/reverse lights dont come on. I would like to have it set up where when I open the doors it triggers the cargo lights because they are tied to the dome lights with a diode in the BCM harness (same as cargo with reverse) I just dont know which pin is for the dome lights.
  25. I've got a buddy with a f150 and I like that when he opens his doors his cargo lights come on. I was thinking that it'd be pretty simple to do that on my truck with a diode in the BCM plugs. With that being said anyone know which pin is for the interior lights?
