  1. I've had good luck with my Wolfbox. There is a way you can hook up a lead to the reverse signal to display the guidelines on the display.
  2. I have the G850 Pro & I love it, I believe it is the same as the G900 just without support for the bumper camera
  3. I agree with @rav3. I do not replace my transmission filter when I do a fluid exchange. I drop the pan slightly, stick a hose in it, and pump the fluid out. I do, however, give myself enough wiggle room to reach my hand in there and pull the magnet out and clean it off. Since the transmission filter is really only a screen to prevent the pump from picking up large debris and a catastrophic failure, I run an external hydraulic filter. I've had that on for about 15,000 miles, and I just cut it open to see what the pleats look like, and there was no debris inside.
  4. I'm having an intermittent misfire on my 2015 5.3L. Cylinder 5 has the most, but 1,3 & 7 are also missing. The misfire is only noticeable when the truck is in park. The misfire is not noticeable in gear, even when stationary. While the scanner was plugged in, cylinder 5 misfired 63 times, and cylinders 1, 3, and 7 misfired fewer than 5 times each. I replaced all 8 coils about a week ago, and that reduced the misfire exponentially. I replaced the plug and wire for #5 just now. The plugs and wires were replaced for the other cylinders less than 20k miles ago. What should I check next? I'm leaning towards intake manifold gaskets or maybe a loss of vacuum pressure.
  5. I had the same problem. I only replaced the thermostat, and that fixed the issue. The correct fix is to replace the thermostat and temp sensor.
  6. I would never buy a set of Firestone's, but that's what GM decided to put on from the factory
  7. I had a blowout today at 33k miles. I was pulling an unloaded trailer at 75mph. Has anyone else had blowouts for seemingly no reason with these tires? I tow a lot with this truck and would like to hear from others if this was just a fluke or if this is common with these tires.
  8. I did the headlight kit & trim kit about 2 years ago now. The trim kit has lasted, but the headlights faded again and developed UV cracks. That could just be the central Texas sun, though. I recently decided to replace both headlights for about $300, interested to see how those will hold up.
  9. I know these trucks are plagued with AC issues. Mine is coming up on 3 years since the replacement. When I drive, I like to stay below 2000 RPMS, and when doing that, the AC takes 30 to 45 minutes to start blowing cold. But if I get in the truck and sit in neutral or park and run it at 3000 to 3500 RPMS within a minute of doing that the AC will blow ice cold to the point of freezing you out of the cab. Any ideas of what the issue could be?
  10. Carplay: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3FY3ND1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title The one thing this truck doesn't have. I've wanted CarPlay, but not bad enough to give WAMS 6-700 dollars for a new HMI. I didn't mind spending the 300 dollars on this decoder, trying it out. It works, it was a little bit challenging setting up but it was worth it.
  11. Spring Refurbishment: All this work took me about 4 days. I normally wouldn't do this much work to a truck, I normally wait for something to fail then I replace it, but my local auto parts store was closing for good and every thing was 95% off so I went ahead and bought everything in the store that the computer said fit on my truck. About $4000 worth of parts for a little over $200, worth it just for the peace of mind. She drives and feels like a brand-new pickup!
  12. She runs and hauls ass! We bought the machine about 10 years ago at an estate sale. We then used it for about 3 or 4 years, then it sat in the shed for about 6 years. Nothing was broken, and it ran good, but we got our hands on the greatest thing since sliced bread, the Gator. In 2022, we decided we wanted all of our play toys to be operational, so it went to the dealer. Deere diagnosed a bad carb and refused to work on it after learning how hard it is to find parts for it. I found an Amazon carb and threw it on, it never quite ran right, and it got put on my back burner. Fast forward to this thread, I ended up putting another new Amazon carb on it. The only issue I have is keeping the fuel pump primed, I think a check valve will fix the issue.
  13. I've had this module installed for about 5 weeks now and have been pretty happy with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3FY3ND1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Easy to install and retains factory settings and menus
  14. That absolutely helps, thanks Mike
  15. I need to replace my Upper Control Arms so I have decided to just replace both UCA's. Anyone have an easy way to tell if I have the cast iron or stamped steel arms?
  16. I appriciate it, when I dig into it ill update here
  17. Getting great fuel, almost makes me wonder if it's getting too muck=h and that is what is causing gas to spew out of the carb
  18. I 100% agree with you on cheap parts, however the two options for carbs is $40 on Amazon or $700 OEM. I will try to clean the carb first though.
  19. I went ahead and bought a new carb, they're cheap on Amazon.
  20. Howdy, I have a problem with my buck and I am out of ideas. The engine will not run correctly on its own, it will run on ether. Please see the image of what I have diagnosed the issue as. The atv is a John Deere Buck 500, a rebranded BRP Traxter. The engine will not run with the plug-in. I would also be willing to just let the thing go for $1000 if you are in the central Tx area
  21. Heated seat module for 2014-2018 trucks without cooled seats. New in packaging, I think I paid $50, shoot me an offer.
  22. From @tbarn: Heated only seats (KA1) have the module under the passenger seat. Heated/cooled (KB6) seats are controlled by each individual blower assembly. I did replace my fuses in the drivers side interior fuse box, and that seemed to help a little bit.
  23. I almost wonder if the heated seats in my 15 work as intended, but I've gotten so used to the ones in our 24 that it feels like the ones in my 15 arent working.
