  1. Mine had whining, the pump was low on fluid. Filled it and the noise went away. Else remember the power steering pump is your brake booster.
  2. I like the sound of the OEM! I want to reduce back pressure, reduce heat ln the exhaust manifold and open flow. I don't want to make it louder. I'm thinking that this Walker muffler being straight through flow and with the length, it will flow and hopefully have good sound without being louder.
  3. The Walker one is what I'm thinking of using. The OEM is only 3". So they reduced from 3.5" down To 3" inlet and outlet, then back to 3.5" tailpipe.
  4. I'm looking at these on Amazon. Walker 21470 - 3.5 inch inlet and outlet Tolalflow - 22421 and AP Exhaust - XS2772 These are 4 inch inlet/outlet. They are straight though mufflers.
  5. On my 2020 2500hd 6.6L gas. I did window visors, Weather Tech floor mats, l e d headlights and a few others. And going to change the OEM muffler or a cat-back kit, a Stillen air scoop. I'm going to take a K&N cold air intake kit and modify to took up to the OEM air filter box. And a roll up bed cover. Added bigger mud flats.
  6. Hey, AFE power makes a cat-back kit made of stainless steel. But it is 409 stainless steel, not 304.
  7. AFE makes a cat-back kit made of 409 stainless steel. For around $600.00. I found a muffler from Walker 21470 with 3.5 inch inlet and outlet. Probably have to add a short piece of pipe to the tailpipe.
  8. Yes, it helps with low end torque. Has anyone tried to just replace the tube and get rid of chamber box? You do get the same extra air flow as the complete aftermarket kits. K&N makes a OEM filter replacement and tube for the 1500. And so does Airaid, they make the Jr. And Airaid makes modular intake tube(MIT) kits for the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, and 6.2.
