  1. @bad bowtie2 Not yet. I've been buying parts for a year, shipping them where the truck is at. So, once I get down there I'll have a lot of updates on not only the steering wheel install, but also, a front end rebuild, new brake and fuel lines, inline electric fuel pump/regulator/cell and last but not least, new rims/tires. Trying to have her here(Philly) before it gets cold. I'm not walking another f'n winter here. I walked all 2022 winter, '23 i biked. 24? No sir. God willing, I'll be pushing my baby again this fall...
  2. I'm sure you've found them by now, but for some reason, the lowers are FAR harder to find than the uppers. So any repros and options with the uppers. NOT the case with the lowers... I'll drop the links on the lowers I have. http://michiganmetalworks.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_65&product_id=120 https://azproperformance.com/collections/63-87-c10-control-arms/products/ridetech-lower-control-arms-73-87-c10 I've read in several places THESE are interchangeable, however, on other sites have been told they're not. So take this offering and research further for yourself, hell, contact moog directly https://www.suspension.com/moog-rk620036 https://westernchassis.com/1971-87-CHEVY-C10-Truck-Tubular-Control-Arm-Set-Lower/ UPPER & LOWER https://westernchassis.com/1973-87-chevy-c10-truck-tubular-control-arm-set-upper-and-lower/ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C9L03U/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=age0a0-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B000C9L03U&linkId=dcb488ce1d2b31eb8102b1ebd074ad56 https://www.andysautosport.com/control_arms/chevrolet_c-_and_k-series_truck.html https://www.classicchevy.com/1973-1999-chevy-gmc-pickup-control-arm-and-ball-joint-assembly-front-left-lower-2wd-61-853089-1.html#tab-label-lyonscg_fitment_tab-title https://www.classicchevy.com/1973-1999-chevy-gmc-pickup-control-arm-and-ball-joint-assembly-front-right-lower-2wd-61-853087-1.html https://www.cjponyparts.com/classic-performance-products-lower-control-arm-tubular-gloss-black-powder-coat-pair-chevrolet-c10-1971-1987/p/7187TCALKB/ https://www.classicparts.com/1971-87-Tubular-Control-Arms-Lower-pr/productinfo/74-157B/ https://www.detroitspeed.com/1973-87-c10-square-body-truck https://www.gmpartsdirectonline.com/p/Chevrolet_1987_R10--Custom-Deluxe-Standard-Cab-Pickup-Fleetside-50L-Chevrolet-V8-AT/Suspension-Control-Arm-Upper--Lower/48034077/12472422.html https://www.lmctruck.com/1973-87-chevy-gmc/1973-87-lower-a-arm https://www.lmctruck.com/1973-87-chevy-gmc/suspension-front-rear/chevy-tubular-front-control-arms https://www.performanceonline.com/1973-87-Chevy-C10-GMC-c15-Truck-Tubular-Lower-Control-Arm-Set/ https://www.qa1.net/automotive/suspension/control-arms-other-tubular-components/control-arms https://www.speedwaymotors.com/1973-1987-Chevy-C10-Tubular-Upper-And-Lower-A-Arm-Kit,464423.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo_3d5PyO-AIV9MmUCR2U6wiNEAAYASAAEgI2YPD_BwE https://www.ridetech.com/product/1973-1987-chevy-c10-truck-strongarm-control-arms-coil-over-front-upper-lower_11362699/ I think thats virtually 90-95% of the options available on the net right now. I have saved these for my own purposes. Perhaps these will help someone as you have likely figured out your needs by time I come across this.
  3. Hello yall! I've have emails out to Jegs, Summit, Grant and NRG among the main places who the components or whole setup. I'm sure someone has done this, but I can't seem to find clearcut answers. Trying to see if anyone here has done what I am trying to do. I want to install a race-car like setup with detachable steering wheel. Which from what i see, I would need a short hub, quick release and of course the wheel. What I can't seem to find is a dead set answer on what the fitment options are for our 73-87s. I have come across setup options that are very broad and don't really give me an sure fire answer. . Has anyone attempted this? Doesn't SEEM like a difficult job, but attaining the info to choose the right thing is. For me at least. Grant offers this $239 No Wheel No Steal Vehicle Security System : http://www.grantproducts.com/products/view/219/ which is basically what I want. Can anyone shed any light on this? Anyone done this themselves?
