So I have a 11 NNBS 1500 with a decaying box. Beyond salvageable. The tailgate mounts are rusting out. Past box patches for sure. These boxes are known for this and are very hard to find because of this. My question is will a box from an older model fit? Due the newer ones having bad boxes and paint they are expensive to find in decent shape. But I can easily find an older one for like $500. I know it would look weird but maybe with some fender flares you could pull it off? Thank you.
