  1. This doesn't look like a GM truck. Not needed on a HD truck
  2. I did find the solution. Need to buy these to adapt. https://nicholsmanufacturingandweldingservices.com/shop/ols/products/gm-valve-stem-for-tpms-sensor-rim-hole-size-625
  3. Wow...thanks for the help! Just getting prepared! Hope you have a better day...maybe tell someone's mother Happy Mother's Day!
  4. Buying a new trailer that has 16" rims vs my old trailer that has 14" rims. My understanding is that the 14" rims have a 0.453" valve stem hole and the new trailer 16" rims will have 0.625" size valve stem hole. What do I need to do to transfer the TPMS sensors to the new rims?
  5. This is one thing I would never do.
  6. What does the shipping look like when you give it a fake address in a big city in Canada...does it change much? Is it just your address that is causing the issue? Do you know anyone with a business address that you can ship to?
  7. Of course the CAD is 0.73 of the US dollar so right there, $120 US becomes $164. Not sure where the extra $140 comes from other than a special handling fee from the shipper. There shouldn't be any duty. Sales tax of some sort too.
  8. It's a no brainer for me...the GM pads are very inexpensive. I love how my brakes work...sticking with OEM.
  9. It would be tough to print something like this on a library 3D printer.
  10. Do a whole tank and get back! This is not a valid test. 16 MPG I can believe because I have achieved that on I5 in CA going 71 MPH but over hundreds of miles.
  11. What viscosity oil are you using? What is the coolant temp when this occurs?
  12. Oh that's not a problem. I post many of my designs online for other people to use....I just don't try to make money off them. Cost less than $1 to make that funnel.
  13. This is my hobby. I don't want to make money off of it. I have had close to 20 people on this site and others ask me to sell them one.
  14. If you know someone with a 3D printer, have them print the funnel I designed. https://www.printables.com/model/1152790-oil-funnel-gm-66l-gas-engine
  15. They are functional. If you tow, they are awesome.
  16. The big difference is your engine consumes oil Dick! The 10 speed uses the same style fill check as the 6 speed...works just fine. You recheck your diffs and transfer case after you fill them too?
  17. You do it once when you fill the transmission. Unless you have a leak, the ATF level will never change!
  18. Why not just use The level plug that the transmission pan comes with is not sufficient?
  19. PPE still sells some flat covers. I would never buy one. Here is one of them for the 2001-2019trucks https://ppepower.com/collections/differential-covers/products/heavy-duty-aluminum-rear-differential-cover-gm-dodge
  20. The Banks video showed a PPE with a pretty flat back which is not like the one you bought. They likely tested one for a different brand truck.
  21. Service manual say 0" to 1/2" down so if you fill even with the hole you are fine. Who knows what the volume is at the two different levels but its not significant. I bought a Banks cover and it is going to require 5+ qts. I bought into the hype of the shape of the cover on the Banks not causing aeration.
  22. I can't even remember if I have ever had to replace brake shoes on a vehicle with disc brakes and a separate parking brake drum/shoes. It should never happen. Of course I am in sunny southern California with no salt.
  23. It is also required if you replace the rotor or caliper as well. From the service manual.
