Thanks Transient! Looking for an easy oil drain replacement for the new plastic drain plugs that come with the newer Silverado trucks. Mine is a 2020 2.7L turbo. It doesn't look like Dormans, Fumoto or EZ Drain make the plastic replacement yet. There's plenty of easy drain replacements out there for the traditional metal threaded bolt oil drain plugs for model years 2017 and older. The issue with the current OEM plastic drain plug is that when you make the quarter turn to release the plug you will find that the oil gushes out making a mess. It would be nice if someone made an easy drain plug with release valve as a replacement for these new OEM plastic plugs. I see a few options out there for the F150s but nothing for the Chevy's yet.

Do any vendors out there make an easy oil drain plug for DIY oil changes?
