Gaut

This just started happening in my 2011 GMC Sierra, when I have the cruise control on and I turn on the a/c recirculate, it turns off the cruise control. The cruise control will not turn back on until I turn off recirculate. What could cause this, I have checked the wires under the dash and nothing is cut. I recently hooked up some spot lights on my back rack and grille guard and connected the ground to the battery directly. I will be moving the grounds to the body ground this weekend just in case.
