  1. To answer your question, the Acadia is different than 2019+ Chevy/GMC 1500 trucks. IF it uses the same electrical architecture it's possible that info may transfer there, but I don't know the answer for those and have not done any research for those. If you want my info about Silverado/GMC here it is. From my understanding of the GM electronics and diagrams along with tons of research, IF you have a VPM already (a truck equipped with 2 or more cameras) you can easily (very time consuming) add more cameras. If you only have one camera (backup), you DO NOT have a VPM and it is questionable if you can add it. (If possible, it would be very difficult, time consuming, and expensive.) I don't have one and am trying to see if its possible at all. I have never heard if anyone has tried it.
  2. US or Canadian Truck? If its Canadian check out the BT Dieselworks AutoSync. Pretty expensive if all you want to do is disable DRL but it says that it can disable to DRLs on Canadian trucks.
  3. I am hoping to get a set of these myself. From what I have seen I am planning on running all the wiring to the rear of the truck and tap into the turn signal wires used by the tailgate light bar and the door assist into the truck bed lights.
  4. I have 2 mods that I have done that sets the truck apart from the others and were relatively easy to install. #1 Tailgate Light Bar - I ordered a OPT7 60-inch from Amazon. Wiring was relatively easy. I did remove the tailgate to get easier access to the install area. If you have small fingers you might not need to. Make sure you stick it low enough to just clear the tailgate because once you stick it on you will bend the bar trying to remove it. This mod took around 2 hours but most of that was spent trying to peel part of it off when I noticed I placed it too high, and it interfered with the tailgate. #2 LED Reverse Lights - There are so many out there that it is overwhelming to pick. I chose Auxbeams but many of the cheaper ones are likely similar. Install was very easy and took less than 15 minutes. Both of these combined costs less than $200 which in the world of truck mods I would consider it pretty cheap. Also, you can replace the rest of the non-led lights (front turn and license plate).
  5. If it was rusted or stuck shut, that's probably why you got the drone.
  6. I want to know about that too. I want to do the same thing but I am starting with the IOR radio.
  7. I don't think any additional cameras can be added to the IOR radio system, even Intellihaul. My goal was to add the factory cameras but with so many different parts that need changed and new wiring I would need to run before I can see if it will even work makes me hesitant about trying the mods.
  8. Rally6.2RST had the camera in the 3rd brake light from the factory I do not. Most people say that is a requirement but I have also heard that if you don't you have to change out and program the BCM.
  9. I installed a OPT7 tailgate light bar. It is pretty bright and looks amazing. If I am backing down a boat ramp or up to something it makes it easier to see but none of the light hits the ground. I have seen tons of ads for lights that attach on the sides of the hitch. I haven't got to try them yet but want to soon. If you don't want to make new holes like me I think those would be a good option.
  10. I have read through multiple threads here and other sites and most people say it isn't possible but I want to see if anyone has tried it. I have a 2020 Silverado Trail Boss LT. It is a amazing truck but lacks all of the luxury features found in higher trim models. I only have the single reverse camera and want to add the rest of the OEM cameras, bed view, top reverse view, both mirrors, front, and trailer provisions. Everything that is needed for the 360 View. I have the IOR radio. I know it will be expensive and probably not worth it but if it is possible I want to do it. I know I will need to upgrade my radio to IOU and get a VPM. Has anyone done this or know if I can and where to start. I'm not afraid to tear the truck apart to do the install but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars and lots of hours installing stuff just to find it doesn't work.
