Headscratcher

I am having the same problem since I changed out my starting battery under the hood. The remote only works in the transmitter pocket. Before I changed the starting battery I could have it in my pocket, or jacket with no issues. Now it needs to be in the transmitter pocket. I have new batteries in both remotes and they work just fine for unlocking and remote start out of the vehicle or at a distance. Definitely a head scratcher!
