    My 2016 Sierra 1500 just had a complete door lock failure. The FOB will not trigger the locks nor will the door panel buttons. The only way to unlock is with the key and then manually unlock from the inside. The FOB will still activate the folding mirrors and set the alarm. I took out the FOB battery and it's testing 80%. There are 8 BCM fuses that I have found on both the driver's side and passenger side fuse panels. I pulled each one and they all tested good. I may have to pull that driver's side rubber boot as mentioned, no clue how yet.

    I'm certainly not questioning the results here, but curious about what prompted the action of grounding the case to the frame in order to solve this issue. Mine is an obvious hard shift both up and down, sometimes down is worse like when I'm slowing down in heavy traffic while crawling along, it literally feels like I've been rear-ended. I would love a solution to this action.
