  1. I don't have another android to try that with.
  2. I am on the latest and it keeps saying on my phone that it is connected, but from the truck when I try and connect it fails 80% of the time.
  3. This started several GM updates ago. My Android phone says it is connected, but from the truck, it says it can't connect. I have deleted the phone and resynced it, I have done a hard reset on the infotainment system (works for a couple of starts), I have tried BT and USB.
  4. Looks good, I haul some items that are 600- 1000lbs and felt that having something like this might not be secure enough, but they are a good easy solution. What I did required custom fab knowledge and a welder.
  5. The strip you are seeing is a piece of 3/16 x 2in w steel that has pieses welded on the ends that are bolted to existing square holes. Each steel bracket is only mounted to the bed in 5 places, the three oval holes in the side of the bed and two square holes under the pockets.
  6. Here is a 4ft track with fittings. https://a.co/d/3aAsDyv Here is one style of the double stud https://a.co/d/3aAsDyv Here is the other style ( use these) https://a.co/d/hIBkbm1 I strongly suggest doing something similar to what I did to mount the track, I am not crazy about only using the three holes on the sides.
  7. I don't like that the track is two pieces, part of the strength is from it being one piece, and if you were to attach the strap between the brackets you could bend the track. It is real easy to over stress tie downs with ratchet straps. I could probably damage or pull out those with just rope. The track also looks thin on the top.
  8. I have a custom piece of 1/4in steel that is bolted on the ends, then the track is bolted to the steel every 6in, except where the three plugs are on the sides, those are thru bolted from the track thru the steel and into the bed. I haven't put a dyno on it, but I used them to tie down a 1400lb pallet of brisket and they held.
  9. I did a custom install on mine with the same type of rail. I prefer the rings with a double stud connection. I plan on making a load bar for this.
  10. I am getting ready to add RGBW LED modules that I have leftover from another project to our under the dash and rear seats. I want the white to come on with the doors and the blue with the running lights, but modules and tape light all use a common positive wire and switch the negative to turn on the different colors. A friend that knows electronics suggested I use a Low-side transistor off of my +12 trigger to control the LED as I want them to dim up/down with the dome light. I am looking at about 8w at 12V, will that cause issues with the BCM? Also is the BCM in my 24 Sierra AT4 closer to the gas or the brake peddle? Just not enough space to get my big head under there to look.
  11. I am trying to add footwell lights to my 24 1500 XT4, what is the dome light pin? I am also looking for the running light control as well, I want to put an accent light under the dash that is connected to the running lights as well. I was also trying to access the link to the Upfitter docs and I cannot view anything, it doesn't let me open any docs.
