Hello! Have a 2014 Silverado 1500 Work Truck. I love this trim because it gives me a ton of options to level it up! I bought it with 105k on the dash and it had only one owner before me. They took immaculate care of it so I can pick up where they left off. Gave it a nice thorough inside detail and washed it so it's looking prime.
I started upgrading and adding mods, but quickly realized now that it's just under 130K miles it's time for a maintenance overhaul. ChatGPT hooked me up with a 300k mile ownership maintenance plan and a maintenance overhaul list to get everything operating as best as it can. Snapped 3 AC belts so I just changed the AC compressor and I have a nice leak in the radiator. So while I'm doing the maintenance I'll be doing that as well. I've spent about $1K on everything I need for this overhaul. It'll also be due for an oil change so that will get done. Full transmission service and cleaning with new filter and all. PPE Thermal Bypass Valve and SS Tubes cooler lines. Radiator and all hoses, spark plugs and coils, Front and rear differentials, transfer case, adding new fluid and bleeding the brakes. Cleaning the cold air intake filter and throttle body. Also replacing the belt tensioner and serpentine belt. Everything.
After I'm done with the maintenance overhaul I'm hoping it'll be running even better and smoother than it is now. Currently have a dual battery setup all ready to install, new side steps sitting there, secondary accessory fuse block, some charges to add across the truck. Then next is to black out the front. Backs done. Will be getting new grille and bumper. Black letters. Full black out. Then going to add a couple flood lights to the front, put in heated seats, install a center console instead of having the bucket seat there. Tons to do and I can't wait to get to it all. I'm documenting my journey along the way on YouTube hoping I can at least help one person with everything I do. It's KP Truck Mods & Reviews if you have the same truck and are interested!
