  1. There is a recall for the hard brake pedal and your dealer should fix it under warranty. I had mine fixed a month ago with over 60k on the Odo and all covered. The vacuum is supposed to be at 27psi or better and mine was at 12psi.
  2. Sorry to restart an older topic but I find myself in this exact situation and I'm looking for options that don't break the bank. My 2016 Sierra already has a 1.5" front lift and 2" rear lift and I'm not looking to lift it any higher and also not interested in larger tires, the 20's are fine. I have read all of the above and thank you for posting all of that info, it's very helpful but also still a very expensive option to go with the Halo Lifts and the Xinerring options. I spoke to Rancho Tech support yesterday and they told me that if I were to swap from Active to Passive and not splice in resistors that my truck my limit the speed, has anyone else heard or or experienced this? True/False? As for splicing in resistors, I did this to my wife's 2011 Tahoe LTZ with the Z55, swapped the electronic front and auto-leveling air rears to Passive and spliced in the provided resistors and there have been zero issues. But, the resistors for the Sierra are different than those for the Tahoe, so does anyone have a source, band, URL, info on them?
  3. Thank you. I am aware of those and have looked at them previously but, the cost of them ($435) defeats the purpose of switching from Active to Passive. If I'm going to switch to Passive struts/shocks with those the cost is about the same as simply staying with the Active OE stuff. I'm not looking to lift my truck any higher than it already is currently (2") just looking for a lower cost alternative to replacing the Active OE Z95 MagneRide and maintain the same 2" lift without breaking the bank or the truck in the process.
  4. I called Rancho and Bilstein directly yesterday to ask them and they both stated that they have not built and tested anything to replace the Z95 and couldn't even guarantee if the strut assemblies of the QuickLIFT would even fit. And they haven't done any R&D for a resistor and also mentioned that they have seen where someone has taken the other resistors for say the Z55 and used them on a Z95 and they over heated and started on fire. They also mentioned that it is possible that if no resistors were used that the truck's ECU would limit the speed because it would think there are no struts/shocks.
  5. Yes. The same was true of the wife's Tahoe LTZ which I swapped over to Passive from the Active Z55 with the rear air option. My question is still the same but let me ref-phase it. For those have had the Z95 Magneride, and have swapped it from an Active to a Passive suspension setup; What did you go with?
  6. I have a BakFlip G2 and love it! If installed correctly there is no leakage. Ok, maybe a drip here and there, like 2-3 around the entire truck bed but other than that it's awesome. Looks great and keeps everything dry. The BakFlip's have drain tubes in the front corners that you install and run to down through the hole in the bed so no water gets in and comes with the foam tape to lay down around the entire bed before the cover is installed on top of it.
  7. 164 Pages in this thread later and looking for opinions. Looking to replace the shot Z95 Magneride suspension Front & Rear; in my '16 Sierra Denali CrewCab 4x4 6.2L with a 2" lift. Why does the Bilstein website not have any search results for the 2016? Rancho, Bilstein, other?
  8. Sorry but I just couldn't read through all 336+ pages in this thread. I have a ''16 Sierra Denali Crew Cab 4x4 6.2 with the Magneride (Z95 w/Z82 which after 68k is now shot and in need of replacement. I bought the truck used from the dealer at 21k and the original owner had installed what appears to be a small lift kit front and rear with 2" blocks under the springs in the rear and a 1" spacer under the struts in the front. Which gives a little nose down rake but I'd like a bit more level. I have a Summit Racing front leveling kit which is 2" strut tower spacers for the top to replace the 1" spacers currently on the bottom. So looking for opinions/advice/suggestions on this setup? And also looking for suggestions/advice on replacing the struts/shocks with what? I've seen the Rancho Quicklift's and RS9000XL's and I've tried to search the Bilstein website but when I enter my year, make, model it says there are no results/products. Yes, I realize that with the 2" Summit lift kit in the front I wouldn't need the Rancho QuickLift's so what would be the other options? Also, does anyone make a plugin resistor by-pass for the Magneride so that the computer isn't always showing an error? TIA for your opinions and suggestions.
  9. I have the same OE easy/slow down thing on my Denali but has since worn out so rather than replacing it I install the Dee Zee DZ43102 Truck Tailgate Assist and it works great.
  10. I too have heard this clicking noise for months now. Sounds like a CV Joint going bad type of clicking. None of my boots are ripped or leaking so can't really tell. And it only happens when I am turn the wheel and a very slow speed, like when I'm backing into the garage or a parking spot.
