    chawkins I was talking to a guy at a local electrical repair/supply store in town, And he was telling me he could take my stock 145 amp alternator and upgrade the amp output, by rebuilding it himself..with the internal parts/windings etc... Have you ever had one rebuilt.Or you just bought new? I wanna do this right and would like to do it all at once between the batteries,alternator,wiring,etc.. were did you get the good connectors? should a local stereo shop have them?

    Speaking of brakes.. I have drilled/slotted rotors on my sierra hd and when your into the pedal a little harder then normal there is a little shake in the truck and steering wheel. Can i have these rotors cut to have them true and without any waro if there is any.. I really didnt want to have to start fresh with new rotors.. New good pads all around is a definite, I also thought about fresh calipers all around because the one rear hangs up slightly if you set the E brake and release it.

    I wasnt up... my girlfreind was checking on our daughter and putting wood in the stove and looked at the thermostat..It tells you the outside temp and is normally very close within 1 degree or so.

    It was 29 at 5-6 am here today in the pocono area, PA Had to put a heater on in the camper last night, I didnt winterize it yet.

    I had the truck loaded with scrap today... was doin some yard cleanup before the snow.. i had an old playset i picked up for free mnths ago and it really wasnt worth holding on to.. So i seperated all the steel from the wood and cut up a little trailer frame that wasnt worth rebuilding or fixing, 720 lbs of metal and got like $70 at the scrap yard.. prices went down there to, Light iron/tin used to be $.10 per per or $10 every 100 lbs, Now its only $7 evry 100 Lbs
