    Installed a new battery and did an oil change today. It is prepared for the track wednesday now.

    I had a freeze plug push out of the front of the passenger head while driving today. Puked all coolant out and got hot fast as I pulled her off the road. Wife came and got me, bought a new plug and coolant. Took 20 minutes to fill it and get it up to temp idling before i drove her home.

    Took the truck to get groceries today with the wife. Then did some datalogging driving. Felt good to have it out and going again.

    I would definitely go whipple or tvs rotors over the ole waffle maker. At least the meth will help you out with heat. But the transmission swap will be totally worth it. Sounds like a fun build.

    22 inch wheel probably wont give you the sidewall needed to really hook hard. Not to mention they will likely weigh a good amount. What blower you looking at? Planning to do a 4l80 swap?

    You could go higher than a 3.90 with a 30 inch tire then. That would put you at or under 5k with no converter slip depending on how high you had the boost cranked.

    If you put the right tire on, you should be able to hook when you need to.

    Checked coolant levels and for leaks after head, cam, crank damper swap last weekend. Still waiting for word back from Justin at blackbear from my autocal logging session this week.

    Wanna line up?! Sure, there is a track about 2 miles from me (formally known as ORP) 2 yrs just under 22K miles here Let me know if you really do ever go. I'd love to run my truck again...
