  1. I'm going to need a crew cab bad, man I'd love to sell mine and buy yours. Ive always loved your truck. I just can't swing a new one right now with the baby on the way and saving for a new house.
  2. I calculated the percentage off sticker and it is 20% which GM has offered in the past, but that incentive is not listed for my area and the dealer's website does not specify anywhere this deduction.
  3. I received a private offer for 4k yesterday as well. Seems to be exactly the same as you all have. I contacted the salesman we use at our dealership of choice because with the baby coming in January I have been researching a new crew cab. The MSRP for the truck is $50,900 and the listed price is $40,655. He told me with the incentives offered on "this particular vehicle" that the 4k could not be added toward the truck. I looked at the rest of their inventory and most all the trucks had the same percentage off. I must be missing something because there are no fine print incentives listed on their website from GM. I looked up incentives on GM's website for my area code and the only one listed is $500 cash allowance or 0% for 60 months. So, from what I'm gathering the dealer is the one offering the price off MSRP and they won't accept the 4k off. Total BS...
  4. If I had a truck like Wildchevys' I'd show that thing off all the time! Damn, I loved your gmt 900 too.
  5. If I had a dollar for each time I've said that...
  6. Well for your sake I hope I'm not. I hope it is just a BDS quality control issue.
  7. Oh jesus... yeah that's not good at all. You don't think your frame got twisted the slightest bit in your accident do you?
  8. I'm surprised with the BDS bad luck. My uncle and two of my buddies run them and said install was great. Although those all were on torsion bar gmt 800 trucks. Good luck, can't wait to see it!
  9. Was taking it to Kokomo for the All Stars sprint car race this afternoon, but my cousin is driving now because his lady is going. Yippee!
  10. He couldn't turn the truck before with that wheel and tire setup. To keep it like he has in his sig he would of had to cut the hell out of his fenders to not rub, hence the lift.
  11. Drove it to Relay for Life in town to walk for my grandma we lost on May 17. What an experience.
  12. Unhooked from a trailer last night, set the adapter plug on the bumper, forgot it was there and opened the tailgate to put my hitch in the bed. Got a nice little dent now. Paintless dent guy just looked at it over lunch and said no biggie. Thank God, I was sick...
  13. Drove down to Louisville this past weekend for my brother-in-law's grad school graduation and I swear I hit every bug on 65. Finally got to wash her up tonight with the Adam's. God I love this stuff. Hit it last week with H20 Guard and Gloss after a wash and the bugs just fell off tonight. So worth the time and money.
  14. I don't have oil analysis of my own to share, but here is Schaeffer's technical data sheet. http://www.schaefferoil.com/documents/247-9003D-td.pdf
  15. While I agree Amsoil is great oil, I don't know if I would say best oil hands down. The Schaeffer 9000 I run in my engine is some pretty damn good oil as well. Don't get me wrong, I run Amsoil products in my diffs and t-case.
  16. Changed the oil with a wix filter and Schaeffer 9000, greased the tie rod ends. Now to schedule the trans fluid change and filter.
  17. I'll double check everything again tonight. I'm sure it will be fine, my OCD kicked in on me I guess haha.
  18. I just now noticed that the owner's manual states to fill the rear diff to 0.04" - 0.70" below the fill hole. I filled it cold until it weeped out the fill hole, then pulled some out with my finger until it didn't run out anymore. You all think I should take more out? Maybe get it to operating temp then remove the fill plug again and let it l level out? Last thing I need is my rear axle seals leaking...
  19. 37k. Plan on doing trans pan drop, filter change, then fluid change to Amsoil around 40-45k. I'm having a shop perform that though. Rear diff fluid was pretty bad. T-case fluid looked good, but the magnet had quite a bit of shavings. Front diff fluid condition looked about the same as the t-case. For a truck that came from a Michigan owner, it doesn't look like it spent much time in auto or 4x4.
  20. Just finished fluid changes in the front diff, rear diff, and t-case. Used all Amsoil. Went ahead and changed the rear diff gasket with a new Lubelocker. Original one looked good but I had it so I used it.
  21. My point is if he accepted a phone call through his Bluetooth, while driving, he did nothing illegal. Therefore, your pointed comment at having him pulled over and stopped was a bit excessive. Especially considering you contributed nothing to his actual question. I agree that texting and driving is stupid. For your information, my cousin's husband just got rear ended last week by some dumb kid doing just that. Thank God their 4 month old was not in the Jeep.
  22. No, not at all. Maybe you should re-read the OP's post, he said he took an important call.
  23. Ever heard of Bluetooth? You know, that hands free device you can use to take phone calls.
  24. Looks great! Tint really set that color off.
  25. I feel like a moron, they definitely don't have a rear block. I even owned an '08 HD and never paid any attention. Hell, I did rear brakes and shocks and never even looked. Let's forget I said that lol.
