Buddy and I drove up to our other friend's place and pulled the running boards off his brand new Forerunner. That thing is pretty dang nice, took us longer to set up in the dark than it did to actually pull the boards off. Then we spent time admiring the under side how all the seams are sealed and things are painted. Nice interior too. Stupid push button start though, took me a minute to figure out how to get that thing started. Always fun "stealing" someone's car when they're at work. Would have been an easier job in the garage vs a vacant parking lot but he still hasn't figured out how to get the keypad for his garage door to work and he keeps the garage door opener in his patrol car. The way the rear seats fold down on it is pretty neat, those running boards fit nicely back there. There's even a compartment for the jack and a sliding thingie in the rear. Too bad it's tiny, doesn't have a v8, and won't tow what I need it to tow. I might have put it in the list of possible future vehicles.
Tomorrow we're going to put the tarp on the boat, go to a bait shop, and then walmart for a couple of those foot long fishing poles. Then fishing!
