  1. I just added these. the lamps on my 2024 were pathetic and dangerous. These are very bright and make a huge difference. $26 shipped. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274071982857?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=meweZlVxTHm&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=uSXU3pL9S5-&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  3. I agree this fob is far worse than any before. I have hit the alarm button 10 times in the last month and a half with this truck. Never hit a button on my trucks starting in 2007
  4. Short roadtrip today and I realized the shoulder belt adjuster is back. Really nice option for my wife to use. My 2019 didn't have these. My previous 2007 and 2013 did though.
  5. Demand a replacement. That's some kind of shipping damage if not factory.
  6. I just can't figure out why the gen engine is a v6
  7. Go with the 5.3. My last one had 300k on it and it is still driving around.
  8. My 24 ltz doesn't have rear buttons and it is very inconvenient. My tk000 2019 did. Drives me nuts.
  9. If you can't hear the pinging of the 6.2 it isn't because it doesn't do it. Your hearing is not good enough to detect it. Both of mine have done it since day one at least a little on 89 and a lot on 87 octane.
  10. I've never driven a vehicle that has the ability to use the cruise lower than 25 mph. My 24 ltz can have the cruise engaged at a slow speed and the truck goes to 15 automatically. Crazy stuff. Super handy and glad to have it!
  11. It is more likely you are feeling cylinder deactivation than a trans problem.
  12. Does the exhaust have a valve on it like the gas engines?
  13. I am seriously considering putting a buick lacrosse seat in the passenger side for my wife. way too hard for a trip longer than 30 minutes.
  14. 6.2 Choose this engine on my 2019 because it was mated to the 10 speed. Initial cost is more but so is the resale. Just a lot of fun to drive especially mated to the 10 speed. Chose it again on my 2024. I was hesitant to buy the 4 cylinder because I usually drive my trucks at least 100k. The last 4.8 I had we drove over 300k. The 5.3 would be a great choice for me too. I tow a few pounds frequently so a v8 helps. I am not into diesel engines personally. High oil change price and my wife smelling fuel on my wouldn't work out. We commute together.
  15. It is activated by going to sport mode. The normal startup is pretty loud too, but if left in sport mode it is twice as loud I would say. Kind of obnoxious in my garage with the door closed. haha. It is not open at any other point using normal or off road mode that I can detect. Just healthy 6.2 noise.
  16. I just took delivery of a 2024 LTZ CC standard box with the 6.2 to replace a 2019 with the same specs. The active exhaust feature sounds really good and is surprisingly loud on startup and acceleration. It is quiet at highway speed. I am not a fan of loud exhaust but with a flip of a switch it is kinda fun. I was fearing I would hate the console shifter but it is easy to operate.
  17. Thank you very much!
  18. Have to replace the clutch on my 2019 1500 6.2 ac compressor. Anyone know the air gap spec? Thanks!
  19. You'll really have to check you state and local laws/ordinances/vehicle code and consult an attorney to get the best answer.
  20. Just got a new wt for road work. It requires a full time LED warning light on the roof. The cig plug turns off with the ignition. The 27 to 28 fuse spot doesn't work like most trucks because it is only three pronged. Any ideas besides running a wire?
  21. No not yet. Thank you!
  22. Just got a new 2022 wt and we put a cap on it. The rubber seal on the cap hits the tailgate cap/spoiler ridge in the rear. Anyone have a source for a flat cap/spoiler? BTW, the aluminum cap by A.R.E. looks like crap on this style truck. Too tall, too wide in the rear. I hate to even put it on the road, but it was $2,500 cheaper than fiberglass. Ugh
