We tow a 2019 cargomate, 36’ overall length. 9370 empty, 15k fully loaded. Trucks tows it good. I’m thinking about air bags to level out the truck.

They can get pretty decent mileage for a big truck. Enjoy your new truck!

I currently have splash guards front and back on my truck. Unfortunately they still let a fair amount by when not on paved roads. Looking to add mud flaps on top of them. It looks like the rock star mud flaps will bolt on but not weather tech or husky. Any other experience with this? Thanks for any help in advance!

Not yet but with the new longer bed I think it should fit. Depending on what ATV you have.

Agreed. I do not trust the camera on my truck. I think they went for a really wide angle camera but it makes everything out of perspective. I was looking forward to a nice factory camera.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket high capacity tank? I.e titan or sb?

I’m almost positive my 21 3500 has a 29 gal tank. I have ran to almost empty twice and not been able to put even 29 gallons in. UNLESS the distance till empty is way off.

You are probably looking for the factory electric steps but I have the amp research. They are 14 5/8” at the rear door and 14 1/8” at the front door. Hope that helps. 21 AT4 3500 crew cab.

I have ‘21 crew cab AT4 with standard box and I’m pretty sure I have a 29 gallon tank. Wish I had a 36 though.

Good Morning, I have located a pacific Blue metallic in transit. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have all the features I want but they are just features not complete deal breakers. A couple of the features it doesn’t have are rear view camera and HD surround vision. I’m also assuming it doesn’t have the larger 8” screen. Can those options be added after the fact? I wanted some of the collision safety features as well but I don’t think it has that. I’m wondering if those features sound nice until you are actually driving and they are more of a nuisance. I have never purchased a new vehicle before. The dealer told me what the price is but what other costs fees should I be expecting once the truck arrives? Anything else I should know? Thank you in advance.

Just for anyone with issues like this in the future. I now believe it is the window sweep and/or the vapor barrier on the door. My window sweep is old and kinda mildew covered. My vapor barrier is barely hanging on after a few window motor swaps. Course of action is new window sweeps and re-securing vapor barrier with butyl tape on the full perimeter. I will post my results in a few weeks. That or I may know of a nice 03 1500hd for sale. Only viewable during summer months haha jk.

My vote is 3500. See too many people maxing or almost maxing out payload on 2500. I wouldn’t go 2500 anymore. 1500 or 3500. Your money though and you spending a lot of it so make sure you are happy with your choice.

I just went to Amazon’s to replace lo’s, high’s, back up and fog lights. Feel bad using Amazon but it was convenient and cheap. Lighting is much improved. Just make sure you clock the led the right way.

Water leaks are no fun. I have been watching YouTube videos for ideas. I’m wondering about the plastic pieces on the roof at the back of cap or maybe the cab vents at the back of cab but who knows. I’m grabbing at straws at this point.

Hey, 2003 gmc 1500hd Noticed my floor board on my drivers seat was wet a few months ago. Tried tracking where the water is coming from with no luck. Sat in the truck while I had someone spray water on it. Best I could tell was it was coming from the drivers door seal so I replaced that. Door closes much tighter now, almost too tight but it still has the leak. Checked the third brake light. Looked dry. My only other thoughts are get the windshield resealed or the trim at the top, back of the cab looks brittle and kind of cracking. Maybe that could be the source??? Any thoughts or advice would appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, My wife just got a 2018 GMC Canyon that came with a canopy / truck topper. We haul our dogs around in there. I got a remote thermometer so I can keep an eye on the temperature but I would also like to get a camera back there to see how they are doing. I saw someone was asking about trailer cameras for their Colorado or Canyon and the response was it will not work. My first thought was a baby monitor but the cameras need to be plugged into power to work. Does anybody have any other ideas? The ultimate would be if it tied into the dash screen but that may be tough. thanks in advance for any help! Update: thinking about adding the front view camera but mounting the camera in the canopy. There are a lot of trailer type cameras you can add but you have to have the separate screen device.

Hey, kind of off topic but what made you guys decide to build your truck opposed to choosing one off the lot? Didn’t have what you wanted and this way you get exactly what you want? When you build a truck, you are paying full price unless there are some incentives? A truck n the lot you should be able to negotiate some. Thanks for for the replies. Always wondered.
