yep . meant to say i replaced the wire connector and the resistor . All new parts from lordco or nappa for get where i got it now .

So they dont actually fix a problem just replace a problem with a other time bomb basically ?

I had to replace my blower resistor thing before I had my recall papers for it . So I did the labour and bought the parts my self. Well yesterday it went again I rarely put the fan on max or number 5 and had the AC running . Next thing I know heading back from town I smell smoke turn off the fan and pull over safely to check it out. Unplug the wire harness thing under the passager side and see it has been burnt same problem as last time . My question is with the recall does GM just replace the part and put it back together to have the same problem occur when I could be in a -45 C day with high winds and freeze to death or does GM acctually fix it to not happen again?

whats important to me if they put somthing in a truck I want it to work and clearly its a flawed piece of crap that i paid for .

I find it would be nice to know the engine hours . Most heavy equipment is measured by engine hours .

just notice mine does this to . I have 17 hours now on my truck . I must be driving really fast for 92,000 km
