I think they are but according to my dealer there's quite a but of labor involved. There's a couple long harnesses included with the actual sills. So, not plug & play for me. I tried to get installation instructions through the Chevy Accessories website but they told me they were only available to dealers.
These are the ones I have https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/interior/illuminated-door-sill-plates-with-silverado-script-84359682?year=2020&make=Chevrolet&model=Silverado 1500&modelId=491&body=Crew Cab Pickup&bodyId=22&wheel=Short Box&wheelId=651&trim=LT Trail Boss&trimId=5101&drive=4WD&driveId=8&engine=5.3L V8 GAS&engineId=2059&bodyNumDoors=5&categoryId=12003
It's pretty easy to remove. There are only 6 screws, total. I installed one and I also have this tray which fits perfectly over the safe without hitting it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RXT7SXS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought a pair thinking they would look pretty cool. Took them to my dealer today to get them installed. Found out the installation would involve about 4 hrs of labor which at dealer rates was prohibitive. Seems that wiring them up requires removing the console, among other things. So if anyone needs a cheap pair....
