hmm maybe they did a double cab batch at the begging... funny the build site wasnt anywhere near up at that time... if this is the case i should be able to build a 26 this summer and get it by late august? that isnt really that far away. no point getting a 25 three quarters thru the season.

you ordered a 2025 in august? i wasnt able to do a build online till like novemberish...it seemed late. whats NHT?

i ordered them from amazon, just need to find some time to take the tires off and change em out.. hopefully the scan tool reads em and everything is good... i dont have time for issues!

so how do i know what model i need so i can order it b4 i tear into the tire? i see many options on amazon. there around 50 cdn for 4 and the coding tool is like 18cdn.. did gm always use the same part in the 1500 for the 2018 year or is it a gamble till i pop the tire and look?

yeah thats kinda what i was told... but my dealer cant even tell me when they will switch over to building double cabs? i'd like to get this going... beeen wanting a new truck since last winter at this time!

so you change the whole sensor and not the batttery? ive never looked at them. only issue i would have is rebalanceing the wheel to the rim if i do it myself..

my rear right tire is not communicating and triggers an errror every time i start... it was occasiional but now with the cold weather its been permanent... im figuring battery.. are these batterys changable? is it something i can do myself? never dealt with them.. but its hard to get to a tire shop when you work all day.. i do have the old horror freight tire mcahine so if its doable i might give it a try?..

only dealer in town. i was watching the web site and 25 builds werent even doable till mid nov... i'm in canada if that makes a difference. i just dont really want a crew cab i have no use for the extra size of it. so nobody else has heard of a shortage of the doublecabs? i was looking at a rst model and built it on the build page. dealer says he cant get any dbl cabs.

been trying to order a 25 silverado double cab and basicly there telling me gm wont let them order doubles'... yet there available on the build site. was wondering if anyohne else is haveing the same issue. i really have no use for the full crew cab. and i definitley dont want a box shorter then 6'6. went thru the same isssue last year and finally canvelled my order as it was getting late in the season to waste money on a 24... so now same b/s in 25.

any other brands other then avs and weathertech making this for my model year 18? weathertech seems a bit bulky... preferably one that screws in

when i bought the truck new i installed an avs bug and stone deflector.. it came with a 2 sided tape instead of the screw in thru the underside system that i have become used too.... anyhow 5 years later.. after coming loose several times on the hwy and flappping like a bird well i'm trying to get over to the side of the road to repair it... ive replaced the 2 sided tape being carefull to remove any wax on the paint for good adhesion... this system just sucks! especially on rainy days at hwy speeds.. i wannna go back to the old screw in method.. does anyone know if theres such a piece available for a 2018 silverado? what brand? / model? thnks

anyone ever add more lumbar then what the factory gave us? i always have mine all the way out and would like more... back is a bit screwy. lots of lumbar seems to help

now that seems to be what i was wanting... a wireless cam that broadcasts to the in dash screen... pricing is a bit much though... base price plus adapter for using the built in screen plus i dunno what else... eeek

price isnt bad. dont really need a unit with a monitor though.. some sort of dash button that could switch between the tailgate camera and the wireless one... just cant believe somoene hasnt done this? i dont know much about audio/video cables or controls someone must play with this stuff? it would have to be real time tho with no lag as were backing up a vehicle...

i believe theres a bunch of electronics in our rear view mirrors now days.. for emergency calling and all that not sure what happens if you change out that mirror? be so much easier if someone knew how to put a video switch in the equation and send the camera feed to the existing monitor? for under a million bucks.. wireless cameras are prettty cheap these days... we already have the monitor ? must be someone with some switching knowledge?

wireless would be alot easier... running a wire to the back of the trailer (enclosed) just asking for issues... road salt/ pinched wires/ scrapes i cant be the only one having this dream?

just curious if theres anyway to put a back up camera on my trailer and somehow put the feed on the built in monitor on the dash on my 18... love the back up cam but with the trailer on all i see is the ball and trailer toungue... would be great to see whats behind the trailer? i have no idea if theres optional plugs on the back of the monitor or what? anyone ever mess with it? this would require some sort of wireless camera and receiver but they must be out there?
